THEOChocolate Salted Almond Organic Dark Chocolate Bar, 70% Cacao, 6 Pack | Vegan, Fair Trade

I’ve actually been on Theo’s factory tour in Seattle (well worth it) and tried all their chocolate flavors as of 2019. The dark chocolate salted almond and dark chocolate sea salt are my favorites. If you like the texture of nuts in your chocolate, then go with this. The chocolate is smooth and not bitter. The nuts are finely chopped and evenly dispersed. And the sea salt gives a nice flavor burst. $4 per bar is actually a great price for this quality of chocolate. They are using high quality ingredients and all ingredients are fair trade and fair wages. They know the farmers who grow their cocoa beans in South America. I honestly like this brand better than $9 bars of organic/fancy chocolate. You can’t go wrong with Theo’s. Highly recommend. Also, they shipped my bars carefully packed so they couldn’t get broken and with a cooling pack so they would be less likely to melt. Impressed with that for no extra shipping charge. Said it could take 10 days to arrive, but actually arrived within 3 days.

As a vegan, it is hard to find good chocolate that doesn't have milk fat or other dairy ingredients. Theo chocolate is absolutely perfect tasting. I've been eating a couple squares a night after dinner for years. It's a perfect dessert.This 12 pack is the exact kind of tear open box you see in the Theo chocolate display at the store. But it's priced the same as when it occasionally goes on sale at the store, and it's also sometimes sold out, so this is a great purchase.If they ever go out of business or discontinue this product, it would be probably my biggest food product disappointment.

We are dark chocolate lovers in our household, and have tried many of the boutique brands. While many are quite delicious, Theo gets two thumbs way up. And, bonus, they are a local company here in the Seattle area. We enjoy all the 'vegan-friendly' Theo varieties, but the Salted Almond 70% Dark Chocolate is amazingly good. Vegan, organic, fair-trade... what's not to like? Highly recommended. Thanks Theo!

Tasty but hard. Not the creamy texture you’d like in your chocolate.

This is my favorite chocolate in the world. I began ordering in bulk directly from Theo during the pandemic. Their delivery estimates seem to be erring on the side of caution--I live on the opposite end of the country (Seattle to Miami) and they have often arrived ahead of schedule. I just realized that on a recent trip I was within 2 blocks of their Seattle store and didn't even know. I am so disappointed that I didn't go on the tour!

The best dark chocolate. Disappeared from store shelves, but here they are. Great!

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This is how my chocolate bars came to me. Clearly, they heated and melted in the shipping. And when I went to the order, it does not allow for a return for damaged or defective items. It was a 12 pack of bars, I paid 54.44, and will toss them in the garbage. inedible!!
