These pellets are truly amazing and, by far, the most effective slug and snail prevention I have ever tried. For years my hostas would look like lace doilies by mid June but since using these - 3 years now - I have had no problem at all with the pests. My hostas look beautiful and quite impressive all season now. We have both a cat and a dog and neither of them show the remotest interest in the pellets. I use them mainly for my potted hostas but also for those planted in the ground (when I remember to treat them). I have recommended them to friends and neighbours who frequently ask how i manage to keep my hostas looking so good. I wouldn’t use any other treatment now and always make sure I am well stocked up.

I have to admit, I was at my wits end with the slugs last year, as the summer was so wet and the slugs had a field day eating the majority of the fruit and veg I grow in my back garden raised beds. This spring started off so wet, I figured I was in for the same levels of decimation. I wasn't wrong. I have tried many eco friendly options, such as copper tape, egg shells, etc, but none of them worked. I was hesitant to buy something that seemed so far from my desire to grow organically, but this product claims it works in an organic garden. I took a chance, and I have to say, it did the trick. It saved my last few peppers, and stopped the complete destruction of my beans as they sprouted. Sadly, I didn't buy them in time to save the cucumbers.Usage is very simple. I really only needed to add a light sprinkle to have a dramatic effect. They have even stood up to some pretty torrential rain storms without loss of protection, which is great news.My intention is to only use it on the crops the slugs are most interested in, so this one 800g bottle is going to last me probably several growing seasons, making great it value for money. Also, now my peas and beans are big enough to stand a little damage, I can stop using them.I have cats, and I was worried about them consuming the pellets, but they have shown zero interest in it, which was a relief. So if you have a slug problem, these pellets could be your answer.

These pellets were great at keeping the invasion of slugs at bay, but I worry about the possible harm to pets,so don't buy these if you have a dog or cat.

Works well and it's very useful for the greenhouse too

I'm assuming it's working as of 5 weeks ago I had a huge problem with slogs and iow I don't see so much damage. It gets mouldy but I think that's fine as it means it's degradable and can be absorbed.

One of the better products in terms of value for money but it took 16 days to get to me via Royal Mail despite the supplier being based in Nottingham? Arrived wrapped in a bin liner that is impossible to take off the product too - bit strange. Contents are fine and effective though so that's the main thing.
