Q: Which installation tool do I use to screw these in?

For this post there are 9 sizes to choose from, so not knowing what size you have/want you simply drill a 'pilot' hole and tap it with the appropriate tap size for the insert( size details are shown when you select a particular itm) and screw it in using a flat head screwdriver. If the material is soft enough you may not need to tap the hole and just use a bit of grunt force to start the insert so that it 'self taps'

Q: How do you thread this into the hole

Self-tapping screw sleeve installation does not require pre-tapping, it can be directly screwed into the specific hole reserved by the base material using the installation tool
