Quality Filter - Perfect Fit On The 1996 Daihatsu Hijet Mini Truck
This is probably a lifetime supply of oil filters for my Daihatsu Hijet mini truck. The filter is well made and it fit perfectly. It can be difficult to source parts for mini trucks so I appreciate not needing to buy oil filters for another 12 years. I also installed a Fumoto F-133 oil drain valve to make future oil changes much easier and faster. The Japanese farmer who owned the Hijet before me omitted the copper crush washer under the oil drain plug so it had a minor oil leak. The attempted solution was more torque on the drain plug, which mostly stripped the oil drain pan threads. The fiber washer on the oil drain valve stopped the leak and the valve prevents future wear on the mostly stripped threads.

Caution!
Be cautious ordering bulk napa filters; they can be rejects. I bought a case of 12, the first 4 filters would NOT thread on.
