NintendoPower Mints Display, Peppermint, 2 oz

I had to complete this collection of candy tin. They look awesome together!.The peppermints are ok, but much better than the other candies in the collection.

They're little mints in a tin shaped like a Nintendo controller. Anyone that complains about the mints, is clearly playing the wrong game. If you buy this expecting some, super, awesome, mind blowing, jaw dropping, new, extreme, mint experience. You're buying the wrong mints. Go buy whatever that new fad flavor of the month is. Don't buy these. These mints are for people, that don't really care about the mints. That's right, I said it. The mints aren't anything special. However! The special thing about these mints, is the tin they're packaged in. It not only has the nostalgic look of a classic Nintendo controller, but its buttons are actually raised slightly as well. It's a beautifully stamped tin, and the printing on it, is elegant also. Very pleased with my new Nintendo controller tin, and the mints aren't bad either.

The mints are so-so, but the tin is awesome! It looks way better than the pic suggests. The buttons are raised and the metal is THICK, not some rinky-dinky thin stuff. I bought them as gifts for Christmas because I knew my friend would want to use it for her stash box... and she LOVED it.

Better than I thought after reading the reviews. Since everyone complained about the mints inside, I purchased for the container as a gift and planned on putting something else in it. However, the mints aren't that bad. Yeah they are kind of light on flavor but they are still minty. Perfect for a kid who might not need something stronger. The buttons on the box are actually somewhat 3D, not totally flat like someone else said. Over all not disappointed.

I have had this mint case for a while now and I have even traveled with it. When I finished with the mints I turned the case into a travel alter. The mints were not too sweet not to strong for my taste. They were pretty good sized mints too.

This product came right on time and packaged very well. My only issue is that I was under the impression that this box had some kind of three-dimensional aspet to it, like the buttons were raised up...but it doesn't. It's just a small metal box that has a controller picture on it. My fault for not reading the description well enough, I guess. To its credit, it does look great and doesn't look cheap. Just wish it was 3D.

Purchased for video game themed Easter basket. Typical hard, chalky mints.

Received different controller than described :(Oh and the mints were different completely.
