Mayco Jungle Gems Crystal Glaze - Peppermint Twist, Pint

I wanted to love this glaze and was so excited when it arrived. I glazed and fired my first piece using it and waited eagerly. The fired glaze looked just as it does in my picture, which was not at all what I wanted - I wanted the beautiful rose color shown in the picture with small accent flecks. So I threw another piece (the one above) and put on three layers of glaze this time, figuring that was the problem. The picture shown is how it came out, just the same as the first time. If I wasn’t outside the return window, it would be going back! If you want a rosy color, find another glaze!
