Good for Matrix
This size is not for resins. You need the fine size for that. This is great for holding beneficial bacteria media, however.

WARNING! SIZES ARE THE SIZE OF HOLES
I made a mistake and bought the small thinking it was going to be a small bag but no, it is just the size of holes. Good product, just specify more next time. Buyer beware. Not for Purigen.

Seachem Media Bag
Wanted to add more Matrix media to my Seachem Tidal 110 filter. The bag that came with the filter held up for a long time so I know the Seachem bags are quality.
