Be careful
So obviously I don’t recommend these to actually use for ballet. Pointe takes years to perfect and years to be ready to be on pointe. You must have 2-4 years of practice, enough strength, a good arch, and good core also enough balance. Once you reach that point you get fitted and get nice actual pointe shoes. But besides that these are great for a photoshoot (which is why I got them) or for decoration. DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED. Injury could occur. But if you planning on getting this for a photo shoot or decor that’s great. For that reason I would recommend this product. The color is good. I would get a size bigger tho.

Great material and run true to size.
We got these for our 10 year old and she loves them. Great fit, nice material, and good quality. They are a shiny pink color and the ribbons are beautiful. They run true to size. They also came with the silicone inserts and a cute storage bag.

Run big but good for amazon
Run big. They are good fort amazon but if you don’t size right they can really fall off your heels. If they do that I recommend button tall socks over them to keep them in place when practicing at home. This is after owning them for a while. I taped the bottoms because the fabric scratches after a lot of use.

Honestly... I love them.
Full disclaimer: I am an EX dancer who never formally went en pointe in my youth. I bought these for a photo shoot and knew I'd need to train pointe enough to have a successful shoot, so I was hoping for my purposes that they were functional enough. I do not know how they would work for an advanced/pre-professional/professional dancer.I worked in them (at the bar only, and as an extremely strong person) for a few months for the shoot and honestly, I loved them so much! They felt secure to work in and the toe padding and bag were super nice to have (I would have been in big trouble without those pads). Size matched the smaller end of my street shoe size range pretty well (bought a 9; street I'm 9-10), and I didn't have any issues with blistering at all. I was also super excited to find that I could use Pointe Paint to change the color very easily (it took 2 bottles for the color I needed to be PERFECT, but that was for high-def photos, not stage work from a distance). If I ever get around to getting back to formal ballet classes, I know I'll need a formal pointe fitting... but I'm old enough and cranky enough that I might bring these and see what the fitter says. I felt GOOD in these, and the price is unbeatable for the quality from what I've seen!

Just beautiful.
I bought these as a gift for someone after seeing a recent ballet performance. They are so awesome. Love them.

Not for beginners in my opinion
I bought these shoes for my daughter who has never used ballet shoes before. They came with the silicone training toes which is great! The shoes and inserts were decently made. The only complaint I have really is the ribbons and fit. We could not get the ribbons to stay tied. We watched a lot of videos how to tie the shoes but nothing seemed to work. The other problem we had was the shoes kept slipping off her feet when she tried to stand up in them. The back of her foot would slip out each time. We read online we could sew in an elastic piece but that’s too much work for me and really shouldn’t have to do that for ballet shoes.

I've just ..never felt a box that was so uneven
The sizing chart is a mess. Good luck with that. I think the Amazon suggestions might not actually be wrong here but it may also be construction of the shoe. There was just no possible way to correctly roll up and lift over that box for anything. It wasn't even trying to be even. 🥴 Because of the chance of sizing being off looking very high in these reviews and my own personal experience, plus ex pointe, this product is not designed for pointe whatsoever and I also think it's not designed for adults. It's not even appropriate for costume. This is exactly how you foster poor form. And poor form will wreck your feet at any age and stage so you might really want to consider that before purchasing these.I literally just needed them to do a turn while using pole and lollipop....for one video. I couldt even bring myself to use them for that short clip. It's not the pain, it's knowing the form in there is also a mess and all wrong and how it can mess your feet up even if you don't feel it as much due to the pads.Anywho. Skip.
