Design Oversight - Low A
The sub hole on this ocarina to play Low A is just past and below a ridge in the bird design. This makes it all but impossible to play the Low A. I have very large hands but covering the D hole and sub hole at the same time is all but impossible. Low A is the lowest note possible to play on a 12-hole tenor (alto) and most songs will not require it. However, I cannot accept this design oversight. I have returned the ocarina and will buy another from STL.

Lovely ocarina, a great gift for someone who would enjoy an ocarina as a real instrument.
Got this as presents for my daughter and niece. My daughter in particular is an amateur flautist, and loves this - and I like hearing it in the home.

It’s perfect for my small fingers.
I love the size of it and it’s a lot bigger than some of my other orcarinas. The holes are big enough for a beginner to use. Just wish that it came with its own carrying bag so that I don’t have to order one.
