PA09 PTO Extender, Female 1-3/8" & 6 Spline, Male 1-3/8" & 6 Spline, 70HP

I have an old tractor so I need a Overrunning coupler. This creates 3 couples between the PTO shaft and the tractor.What happens is, the universal joint on the PTO shaft has a little wiggle to it (best I can describe). PTO shaft connects to the PTO extender (a bit more wiggle), then that connects to the PTO Overrun Coupler, then that connects to the PTO itself. All these couple together creates a bit of play. This creates a very slight "bow" when PTO is spinning under load. It JUST SLIGHTLY makes the entire shaft flex (bow) a little. I just use a 4 foot bushhog on about 10 acres about 4 times a year and I have not observed any damage to the PTO or anything like that but a 4 foot bushhog is not a lot of load. I imagine the more load you have the more flex it creates which can slowly cause more then typical wear on your PTO.

Sure made it easier to hook up improvements. Has to cut a little off tiller drive shaft.

I’m 77 years old and having trouble with connecting my different implements to the PTO Shaft. Added this and my life got a little simpler. If you can relate, get yourself one of these.

Needed something like this to extend or shorten the reach of my PTO shaft on an implement and allow me to use my quick hitch system. Perfect!

I added pats quick hitch to my 3 point on a BX23S. Didn’t want to buy & recut pto shafts for cutter & tiller this added the length needed to make both pieces work. I’ve ran it around 7 hrs on the rotary cutter with out issues. I did mark my shaft with red tape where it bottoms out to make sure when letting cutter up I don’t raise it to for.

Built right. Looks sturdy. Hope it last a while.
