Greater Than Games - Spirit Island: Jagged Earth Strategy Game Expansion

What I love The new spirits are incredibly diverse and offer a wide range of difficulty and playstyles. The tokens add new layers of strategy without adding unnecessary complexity. The event cards make the island feel more dynamic and alive. The component quality is consistent with the base game. The modular content makes it easy to tailor the difficulty and complexity you want. The extra boards and pieces make 5–6 player games possible. Replayability gets a massive boost. It makes every session feel different without overwhelming returning players. It integrates seamlessly with Branch & Claw and the promo spirits. The price matches how much content you get. What I like less Setup time increases with all the new content. Some spirits have steeper learning curves. Six-player games can get long

Incredible expansion for a great game. It's what you expect for the company and the new spirits are cool to use. The difficulty is insane tho.

An absolute must for avid Spirit Island players. This expansion introduces 10 new spirits (that's 2 more than the base game came with!) plus more content, like badlands tokens and new cards. You get a lot of added replayability with this expansion, and some of the funnest spirits in the game.

I love the game and I love this expansion. It's very fun and versatile. We're not even close to exploring all the possible options and variations. This expansion adds highly difficult spirits. Great value for money. (International) shipping was fast and well packaged.

I am a huge board game player, and every time I play board games for some reason I just think about how much I love Spirit Island, and I feel like I have felt this way about Spirit Island ever since getting this expansion. The two best parts of this expansion for me is the new Spirits, which add a lot more strategic depth to the game, and the 6 player option. I will never forget teaching my friends how to play this in a day long 6 player game. I remember thinking that they would very much dislike the game and be bored. But after playing and finishing a game in 4-5 hours, they all wanted to go another round and requested higher complexity spirits (I had them start with low complexity spirits). Great expansion for a great game.

Amazing game!! Definitely requires focus and collaboration. One of the more complex and rewarding games I’ve played.

Yeah, it’s one of the best expansions, but you already know that if you are reading this, so might as well add to the cart. It’s fun!

Fantastic. My group has been playing it weekly for like 9 months now with loads of playability left. It's probably too much going on for those who are not into strategy board games.

This expansion adds so much to the base game. The new spirits greatly expand the variability of gameplay and spirit synergies.

The Jagged earth Expansion is one of the btter Expansions (i still love all of them tbh) It introduces even more Game mechanics and Tokens and some new spirits (including my most favourite the chaotic Grinning Trickster stirs up Trouble) with them. I would suggest getting the Branch and Claw expansions before you get this one though cause the Tokens were first introduced in that Expansions, making playing without it a bit awkward. You need the Spirit Island Basegame to play this Expansion so i add my Review for that one herer. (Sorry for it being in German) Spirit Island ist ein geniales Game in jeder Hinsicht.

Great
