It's more expensive than the x10000, comes with only one head and a worse travel box. Between the three, the x10000 is the better deal. **Q: Is the brush head considered soft?** A: As other have said the head of the head it is medium firmness. COSTCO, Sam's, and Amazon sell multi packs of OEM brushes, 8/9/10 brushes that I have found to be softer, lets say medium soft. Depending on the "Special Deal" at the time any ware from $29.95 to $49.95. **Q: Are there any brush head’s that do not have holes in the neck of the brush? I realized the inside of the brush head has all sorts of black mold in it.** A: I have had an Oral B for over 24 years. They have always had holes. After brushing, I thoroughly wash off the hand set and brush head, remove the brush head, wash the spindle and flush out the brush head cavity.
