TERRIBLE
I think these are green Banana (as we would call them in the carribean community) not plantain that you can fry and boil. I had hoped they would have ripened and turned yellow so that I can fry but after 1 week they are still bright green. LoL

Expensive
Good but expensive

Perfectly Dark green but VERY overpriced
It's literally £1.50 per banana, I bought 3 of this item expecting more than 1 for the price. All of the bananas were differing in size... Not amounting to the weight of banana they stated in the description. False advertising. On the plus side thank god they are super dark green! Couldn't be dealing with no ripe plantain. Those in the comments mentioning how they didn't ripen in time clearly don't know anything about plantains. Also, the photo in the description shows a dark green banana so why would you expect a yellow one? Wierd.

Will not by from here again.
Took more than the normal length of time to ripe and passed the use by date before it turned enough to eat.

Perfect
Great price and they are almost yellow which is how I prefer to eat them. So glad I was able to deal with this craving for plantain I have had throughout lockdown. Purchased via Amazon prime now

Very tough
I left them to ripen a little bit but they didn’t seem to soften at all. When I tried to cook them they were still very tough and not very flavoursome

Not tender
Not tender but was ripened by the time I received.
