The quality is really good! For being VGA it's better than I expected! As I normally use DVI when using my PC. I haven't got a chance to test many of my games with this. But I did get a chance to ruff-up the city of Panau in Just Cause 2. Today I'll be sure to try Skyrim on it! (Open World Games RULE!) MY MONITOR: --I'm using a Dell monitor thats a little pricy (It has really good quality imaging) The monitor is not wide screen though, its just a square (17" i think) That uses about "1280 - 1024" screen resolution. -- The only thing I noticed right away was the awkwardness of xbox on a sqaure screen rather than on a flat screen. I guess I can get used to this over time. I will be getting eagle eye coverter shortly. I Will soon have the altimate Desktop setup for my Xbox360 Elite. IMPORTANT! If you guys would like to get audio comming from your PC Speakers. Be sure to use a Female-to-Female-to-Female plug tittled: "6in. Stereo Splitter (3.5mm) Audio Adapter" on desertcart for $X.XX. Just plug your PC speakers (the GREEN cord) into the black adaptor. Than do red-to-red and white-to-white! :) I will update if I find anything new. Review: Works Great! Comes with 3.5mm Adapter! - Like I said, it comes with a 3.5mm adapter and a gender changer in the package. Wish I would have known that before buying an extra 3.5mm male to stereo red/white splitter for my TV. Oh well, at least I'll have an extra one of those around just in case... Like I said, this works and looks great. Picture is crisp and clean, and this is the only cable I can hook up to my Xbox 360 that will actually let me set it for the exact resolution of my TV. Well, almost the exact resolution of my TV. My TV runs 1366x768 and using the VGA cable the Xbox 360 will let me set the resolution to 1360x768, which at least means my TV isn't doing as much scaling as it would with a regular 720p or 1080i signal. This way the Xbox does all the work, and the picture looks better because of it (to me at least). Also, something it doesn't show is that this does have the optical plug as well, so if you're looking to output to a receiver using an optical connection you're totally able to do it with this cable. With the component cables actually a few dollars more than this cable here on desertcart, you'd be crazy not to go this route if your TV has an open VGA port. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is a cable! *by J***N on January 16, 2012* I recently purchased this cable so that I could use my 360 with on of my computer monitors. My wife no longer allows me to play games in the living room that do not involve my 1 year old daughter. She sucks at both death match and collaborative play so I had to move my 360 to the office. The cable works amazingly well. It allows the 360 to display its picture on any device that has a HID 15 VGA connector. I tried many times for countless hours to get the picture to display using a component cable with my LCD computer monitor, but even using paper clips, glue, and prayer, I was unable to get the picture to work. I finally figured that the holes in the VGA connection on my monitor were just too small to get the RCA jacks to fit in. After I gave up, I saw this cable on Amazon and bought it right away. Using it there is no issue of the holes being too small. The female HID 15 cable plugs directly into the males HID 15 on my monitor! It was tough getting the glue residue off the monitor, but who looks at the back anyway, right? If that wasn't enough, now I can select any resolution I want. While my monitor is a plain jane 1650 * 1080 LCD, I am able to play in full HD. This cable must overclock the extra pixels into the monitor! It is simply amazing. I also took this cable to a friends house and I was able to repair his ring o' deathed 360 simply by placing the clear plastic package the cable came in under his power supply brick. I saved him from having to buy a new console! I will admit he was really not my friend, but I am hopeful. My therapist says that I should reach out to people who have similar interests.
