    Good quality, but wouldn't stay on for me

I bough this when my 17y/o QH Eventer's "grey horse melanoma" right at the base of his tail became irritated and opened up(ugh) - impossible to bandage; so was looking for cover when he's turned out.  It is well made, and nicely sized (good base of tail cover), but I couldn't get it to stay on overnight in the pasture, even when I tightened it more than recommended.

I love the product however I gave it only two stars because for what ever reason....and trust me I have tried many ways it will just not stay on my horses dock...and slides down the tail until its off.

Overall quality is the same as most horse boots. Only negative which I'm not sure if the material or the design is that it seems to loosen easy and come out if my gelding is swatting at flies a lot. I pretty much find it at a daily in the pasture somewhere.
