Better than any other "fast cure" resin out there
I've been using this resin to make custom game controller buttons, and it always comes out beautifully! Very few, if any bubbles. It's crystal clear without any pigments or dyes. As it claims, it cures fast and can be taken out of the mold in 10-15 minutes, and becomes rock-hard within 4 hours. If you haven't had luck with resins such as PUDUO, ArtNGlow, etc... This is what you're looking for. This blows the others out of the water, in performance AND price.

Amazing isn't a strong enough word for this product
Amazing isn't a strong enough word for this product. It takes detail, fine fine FINE detail very well. First introduced to this product at Gencon, I have used it in multiple builds, it has been used on stage, and exceeded expectations time and time again. I've used 325 for props but it's also been used to create items for daily use. It has a pretty solid sheer when mixed correctly, and it takes color very very well!I have yet to find a product by Smooth-On that has failed to deliver!Easy to use, can be adapted to serve multiple uses, and when I've contacted Smooth-On they have had people who are actually familiar with their product, and make intelligent suggestions from experience. Both the product and the Smooth-On seller here on Amazon are rock solidOn the pictures look closely at the unfinished silver of the Corvo mask I built, the fake tool marks I made in the monster clay transferred perfectly to the final cast. In the second build progress shot, you can see where the copper wire was being bent to fit the piece. The sheer of the 325 took the abuse without issue. The final shot was part of another build, and I happened to mask off half for paint. You can see in the shot how the 325 looked before and after paint and the fine detail that was caught. I did not make a single cast in a vacuum environment, these were all straight mold casts using Oomoo 30 and Smooth Cast 325

Works perfectly, hardens quickly, paints easily, and great durability
Works perfectly, hardens quickly, paints easily, and great durability. This is my first time using casting material and process. The process went smoothly and I got good parts on my first try. The photo shows my mold and four medallions I cast. The medallions have been painted but not antiqued yet. The medallion to the right is the original.

kicks fast, cures hard. Satisfied with the results.
This stuff kicks fast, so make sure you've got all your molds ready before you pour. Its fairly good at self degassing, but to be sure, try not to stir too vigorously when mixing so as no to introduce a lot of air to the mixture. As it sets fast, this stuff works great for including chunky glitter, gold leaf, or inclusions, avoiding a lot of unwanted sinkage that you'll get out of longer-setting resins. Worth the money, although when poured clear, cures with a slightly yellowish tint. Not ideal for crystal clear pours. I'd love to try Crystal Clear 202 some day.

SmoothOn 380 vs ONYX vs 300 vs 320
SmoothOn 380 vs ONYX vs 300 vs 320. We use SmoothOn resins for industrial and prototyping purposes for making electronic enclosures and other electrical parts. First off these resins are good stuff, but not all built the same. We do not use a pressure pot (pressurized container) to cure these resins. So it's all room temperature and a small oven to sometimes cook the parts. We're also using MoldStar 15 (slow) silicone from SmoothOn. Works great, can be oven heater to 120Deg to accelerate the cure and lasts a long time (at least 5 to 8 years). The SmoothCast 380 is by far the BEST of their casting resins. Gives you about 8 min. of pot time, cures fairly fast and it is the HARDEST of them all. Once dried, the edge if a part after 20 min. can actually cut you like a knife, that's how hard. It is also a bit flexible. This resin is weights more than the SmoothCast 300, which is also my favorite. The 380 also takes pigments better than the other resins. The ONYX resin is the worse to work with. It cures too HOT, that it often blisters and bubbles. It also has little work time (Pot time) and could cure while you're pouring it right in the glass. Dries very black, but not recommended. The SmoothCast 300 is a fantastic resins, like the 380. The DIFFERENCE between the two are that the 300 DRIES GRAY with pigmentation, BUT (A BIG BUT), the 300 CAN DO WITHOUT PAINT. Yes, it dries so smooth GRAY that all it needs is maybe a coat of clear enamel or lacquer. It is also a bit more prone to bubbling due to heat, but NOT TOO MUCH. The 380 dries black with the BLACK TINT, otherwise it's like a tan. About 4 drops of tint (So-Strong recommended) is enough for 12 table-spoons of both parts A & B (6 Oz.).SmoothCast 320 is awful, dries with bubbles due to heat, takes a long time to dry and it just doesn't work right under the conditions I'm using it.
