Love!
I've had these dishes and bowls for about a year and a half now, and they're quite durable. Some upkeep is necessary (I oil mine every 6 months or so, and hand wash them), but they're worth it for the aesthetic

Beautiful!
I am so happy with these! They definitely require more work for care but I don't mind that at all for such a beautiful set! I've been looking for a wood set and the only regret I have is not buying them sooner!

beautiful plates with a few small blemshes
The set is really gorgeous. Beautiful to look at. The only thing keeping them from being a 5star is there are a few spots maybe where there were knots in the wood that have become rough and slightly swollen after using a dozen times. I have never let them soak in water so it is not that. The rest of the surface is still lovely and retaining the oil finish.

Cool, but need a bit of care to keep in good shape.
I really like these bowls and plates. They look great and insulate things like soups fairly well.Just don't ever put them in the microwave, hand wash and don't let them soak, dry them off after washing, and try to avoid using sharp utensils as they will scratch up the surface.I've had them for a year, use them daily and they're holding up fine. You can't abuse them like ceramic or plastic dinnerware, but if you don't mind the bit of extra effort, they are definitely worth it.

A butter knife will scratch them!
Got these plates for their durability (won’t chip, crack or break) BUT they EASILY get scratches in them. My husband used a butter knife to cut his pancakes (I know, he’s weird) and the knife left a big scratch across the plate! VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I don’t know how in the world they can make cutting boards out of this stuff??
