ghd Max Styler Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners

I bought these reluctantly after having the same straightener for years! They leave hair very smooth- especially for me that is a challenge as I have extremely thick curly hair!Robust, effective and reliable- well worth the money and most importantly- no sign of frizz after use!

Brilliant straighteners best I've had very easy to use and felt comfortable in the hand. Think they are a bit over priced, if they brought the price down more women would purchase them.

Love my new GHDs, had the classic ones for over 10yrs and whilst they still work aren't as effective so decided to buy new ones. As I have long & thick hair I went for the max styler and it has cut down the time it takes to straighten my hair. My hair is also glossier. I did a search for GHDs before I bought them & Amazon had the best price. Have passed on to my other Amazon & GHD fan friends!

Price:- I purchased my ghd after looking for deals online (including the official ghd site and other similar sites on Black Friday).- The Amazon price was the cheapest at the time, as the Ghd’s official website offer seemed to have ran out on this product!! (Which was disappointing because they were giving away a free heat protection spray).- The Amazon offer was therefore the cheapest at the time and good value.Quality:- This is a new model of the max professional styler. The old version had plates that did not move, and were more square/ rigid in shape. Whereas this new one, is rounded, and curved from the edges, which allows you to shape and style your hair as you want.- I was unsure if I liked the slightly moving plates. I’m no scientist but I think it helps give a better finish to the hair. Personally I saw no difference with the quality between the two versions. Both are good, and both leave me with straight hair until I decide to wash it.Time:- The ghd takes me just as long as an ordinary straightener, if not longer. That’s because of the heat temperature setting. There is only one heat setting. So when you turn it on, you have to wait a couple of seconds for it to warm up and when it does, you’ll hear a ‘beep’ sound, which tells you it’s ready. There’s no option for changing heat temperature.- On average it takes me about 20-30 mins to straighten my hair, and that’s when it’s long or short. I think it’s because of the thickness and frizz my natural hair has, so it takes more than one stroke to get it straightened.Top tip: When you straighten your hair, don’t do anything to it for 3-4 days and then use dry shampoo when it starts to get greasy. This will give you another two days of straight hair, that is both straight and has volume. (Personally I’d do anything to avoid washing my hair for a few more days, anyone with long hair and busy lives will understand the struggle).- A Ghd is perfect for anyone that wants to lock in their straightened hair until the next wash. Worth the purchase.

What a great product!!! Had my old ghd for 16 years but unfortunately they stopped working!!! Those are definitely an upgrade!!! Love it!!! Wish I bought them sooner!!!
