I bought a second one after the first one. I guess that says it all.

OK Mead, why did you bother to make a really nice bulletin board, and make it just about 1/8th of an inch too thin, so that the average push pin, inserted all the way, protrudes out the back? I solved the problem by cutting a piece of the cardboard carton it came in, and gluing it to the back, to avoid damage to the surface of my wall. I shouldn't have had to do that. I should have paid better attention to the other reviews that mentioned this problem.
