I have dry coarse thick natural wavy hair. Great combo with Texas humidity. I Bought the shampoo and conditioner from TJ Maxx and saw I needed a balm to complete this trio hair treatment. My hair has been so dry and brittle for a couple of years due to bleaching my hair so I figured I’d invest in my hair some and try this out. I’ve use joico products in the past and they’ve always worked well just a little expensive. I’ve used deva curl but it makes my hair real oily. This balm with the shampoo and conditioner really brought the hydration back in my brittle hair. I see less breakage and not as much hair in the shower! I’ve used it for 2 weeks now and I noticed it is so much easier to style my hair now. I was afraid to straighten my hair for a while just because it had gotten SO dry and tangled. Today I finally straightened it and my hair is so smooth. Love the smell of the balm. I use a little pea size of the balm as like a after style product on my hair and it through my ends or the top layer of my hair where I’ve bleached to add just a little bit more hydration I love joico. My sensitive scalp does not break out when using. Another perk. I have high maintenance hair that’s in recovery . It finally feels manageable after using this product

This is excellent! My hair was feeling very dry, so I have been using this in place of conditioner + a hair oil. The result is amazing, and my hair texture is much softer! The product itself is very thick, and you don't need to use as much as you think. If you're struggling with dry hair, this is very moisturizing – would definitely recommend!

The product is great and does exactly what it claims to. Leaves the hair soft and manageable and smells great. I order this on a regular basis. My only complaint is the delay in delivery and this was purchased through prime. Ordered it on the 23rd and received on the 27th. I wasn't allowed to cancel the order for some reason and when I called to complain customer service said there was nothing they could do. So I didn't have the product, didn't know when it was going to arrive and couldn't cancel it. Finally received it on the 27th and in my order files it shows still not delivered. Amazon is really starting to go down hill with reliability and customer service while increasing their price for prime service.

Excellent detangling cream! A little goes a long way so the high price isn't so terrible. I apply in shower - let sit about 10 minutes then rinse OR apply about an hour before washing my hair. It detangles, adds moisture and helps my "mature", fine, frizz-prone hair feel soft. This was too heavy for me to use as a leave-in overnight mask.

There is NOTHING else on the market that moisturizes and restores my hair the way this stuff does. I have natural thick kinky 4c hair that dries out easily, and this makes my hair feel so good. As soon as I put this in my hair in the shower it’s like I can feel my strands relaxing, im not exaggerating. It’s like when you finally drink a cold glass of water on a really hot day. I first discovered this at homegoods but when I can’t find it there I buy it from Amazon or Ulta because it is worth every penny and I’ll pay for it no matter what. I also notice that if I use hot tools after using this my hair still feels moisturized, the hot tools don’t suck all the moisture out and put me back at square one. When I straighten my hair and wear a ponytail my hair looks so strong and my ponytail swings a lot more than usual. It doesn’t feel greasy though. A lot of products don’t get into your hair strands and so you’re left with a greasy feeling, but with this you can just tell your hair is truly hydrated on the inside. I don’t know what I’m going to do if they ever discontinue this because when I forget to buy a new bottle and have to use something else, it doesn’t hit the same. If you are a black woman please try this product. This whole line changed my relationship with my hair. Even my hair dresser noticed the difference.

Love this stuff! Nothing else works for me. I actually have fine, medium thick, very long hair. All my life I have had hair that tangles easily, but any conditioner would do. It was always soft and easy to detangle. Now that I am getting older, it is very dry and none of the conditioners work. I have tried a ton of them! My hair was frizzy, dry and tangled...just overall unhealthy looking no matter what i did. It was an absolute mess! A friend recommended this, and I was skeptical. Boy, was I wrong! After one use, my tangles easily combed out, my hair felt soft and it looked healthy!!! I will never stop using this miracle product!!!!
