The best pillow if your a side sleeper. Totally worth the money
After struggling with neck and shoulder pain for years, I decided to give the Eli & Elm Side Sleeper Pillow a try, and I can honestly say it has made a huge difference in my sleep quality. From the moment it arrived, I was impressed. The packaging was sleek, sturdy, and well-designed—definitely a step above the flimsy plastic bags that some pillows come in. It felt like I was unboxing a high-end product, which only added to my excitement. The pillow itself is unlike any other I’ve tried. The contoured design, specifically made for side sleepers, provides incredible support for my neck and head. I no longer wake up with that dreaded stiff neck or aching shoulders. The fill is adjustable, so I was able to customize the firmness to suit my needs. It has just the right balance of softness and support—plush enough to be comfortable, but firm enough to keep my head aligned with my spine.Since switching to this pillow, I’ve noticed a dramatic reduction in morning aches and pains. I used to wake up feeling sore, but now I feel refreshed and well-rested.If you're a side sleeper struggling with discomfort, I highly recommend giving the Eli & Elm Side Sleeper Pillow a try. It’s an investment in better sleep, and for me, it’s been worth every penny.

Comfort!
Okay, I’ll say I was skeptical at first specially since it’s a pricey pillow, but no joke this thing is sooo comfortable!! I got the cover pillow combo, looks great and I had a great night of sleep. No neck pain in the AM, which hasn’t happened in a long time. Super glad I bought it. Now that I know it’s worth it, I’ll be buying a 2nd one for my king size bed.

Unique and helpful
This is a unique pillow. It is both soft and firm. It’s shape is something that takes some getting used to. It supports your head and neck very well, but you have to adjust to it a bit. When I first got the pillow, it took over a week to get used to it while sleeping I’d grown up sleeping with two pillows as I’ve always had bad asthma and needed to be slightly more inclined. However, now that I’m in my mid-30s, the degree of incline on my neck with two pillows was more painful than the comfort of sleeping my usual way. I’ve tried many single pillows over the years and none of them worked well enough. So I took a chance on this much more expensive pillow as I read about it being the best pillow for side sleepers with neck and shoulder pain.I took out some of the stuffing at first since it had a much higher loft than I was used to. Over the first month+ I added it all back in as the stuffing became more compacted and I appreciated the amount of loft and realized it was indeed keeping my neck better aligned and thus in less pain. Now I wake up without neck pain at all. Every couple weeks I fluff the pillow up again by grabbing at the surface to dig into the stuffing and pull it up. Works for me.The pillow is longer than a standard pillow, but the same width. So the end will stick out a bit from a standard pillowcase, but I use one anyway since I don’t want to use it without one. The pillowcase will crunch up around the indent, but I got used to that too. A king sized pillowcase is much too big and will be too annoying if you’re a lighter sleeper like me.I’ve tried previous pillows that were firmer to support my head and neck, but they were so firm that they ended up hurting my ears (as I’m a side sleeper) and I would wake up in the middle of the night with my ears in pain. This pillow is firm enough to support, but I rarely wake up with ear pain. It’s not non-existent, but it’s much less common. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.Overall, I very much enjoy this pillow and it accomplishes most everything I was hoping for.

I'm conflicted on this pillow = side sleeper
I'm a side sleeper that sleeps primarily on one side only, i.e., not a lot of turning over. I think that's necessary info for others reading pillow reviews. And my preference is for high, firm support under my neck in order to keep my head at the proper angle. This pillow does not meet that requirement. The good parts of this pillow are the curved shape that allows it to be pulled fully down to provide theoretical neck support. And the bilateral shape so that you can turn either side as desired. The stuffing inside is in a separate zippered casing so you can add or subtract stuffing for customized comfort. And that stuffing does feel quite luxurious. The outer, zippered pillow case likewise feels quite luxurious - a premium fabric for sure. So, what's not to like? Well, any side sleeper of a certain age especially is looking for adequate support to keep weight off the shoulder and the head in proper alignment. For me, the height of the pillow matters and this one might could work (I'm 5'8" with a somewhat long, but not freakishly long, neck) but for the fact that the stuffing inside moves and/or compresses during the night so that there is no neck support. The insert that came with the pillow instructs that the pillow must be "fluffed" for best effect and that is true. When first fluffed, this pillow feels like pure heaven. But then, during the night, the support is just gone. And waking up to exert effort to re-fluff the pillow just wakes me fully, thus defeating the purpose of a great pillow to get a good night's sleep. I tried rolling a small towel for cervical support and placing inside the inner casing, but that really didn't work as well as I had hoped. So, the product feels luxurious and is well made and may work for you if your pillow needs are different than mine. But if you're looking for a pillow that will feel consistently supportive throughout the night, then I suggest something different. I haven't found that pillow yet and I've tried many both inexpensive and expensive. I've slept on this pillow for 2-3 weeks at the time of this review.
