Shade Tech II ST100 10'x10' Instant Canopy

5 stars? Yes. I live in Maine and the weather is unpredictable at best so I bought weights for this also. It held up against some stiff winds and rainfall. When it was forecast bad I would take cover off and lower frame. It takes 2 minutes to do. I made the mistake of leaving it up and unattended. This is what I came home to. The water pooled and collapsed 1 leg. Other than my bad judgment this is a quality product and I am going to buy another one. I recommend this canopy 100% but I suggest some weight. Update- I recently purchased another canopy. These are truly awesome. Stands upp to a 13mph wind good. Anything crazy for weather, take 2 minutes and remove canopy.

We liked the canopy for the two times we got to use it. Quality seemed good. Easy up and down. The carry case could be a bit bigger to let the fabric fit in better, but it's adequate. Our second use it started to rain. We thought it would let up, but after a time decided to go inside. Left the canopy up. Wrong!! The front blew in, lifted it all, and wrecked the frame. A tip. If a quick wind comes up just put the frame legs to lowest position and lift off the fabric by releasing the Velcro. The canopy removes quickly. Once the fabric is off, the frame alone is fine. (Wish we had thought of that earlier.) Shopping for another.

Used the canopy for the first time at the beach. It was easy to put up (there were 2 of us) Unfortunately 3 hours after set up a rogue gust of wind pick the canopy up. Two legs were bent. We were not using weights. It cannot be fixed.

Por el precio está bien. No es muy fuerte. Deben tener cuidado si está lloviendo fuerte. El agua lo puede hacer torcer. A destacar que es muy comodo de transportar debido a que pesa poco en camparacion con otros.

This is my second purchase of same Shade Tech. The first one was damaged in wind storm and not fixable. Great company and good quality.

We have had a Quik Shade Weekender 100 for several years, sturdy and well made but recently had one of the legs break at the top. I learned not all Quik Shade products are created equal when I tried to replace it. The legs on the Shade Tech II seemed flimsy, they did away with the pin and ring locking mechanism at the top and put a tiny little latch that is so small it hurts your finger to push on it, I thought a piece was missing on it or something. The canopy cover does not have the velcro tabs to go along the sides to hold it onto the frame, this one was just the corners. We put it back in box and returned it immediately. Come to find out you can order replacement parts directly from Quik Shade, I'd rather keep and fix the old one.

Easy up and down, reasonably sturdy provides shade from the Florida Sun. Does not hold up in heavy rain.

We purchased this canopy because we needed it to have straight up legs - not angled outwards. We put it next to our camper (it has no awning) and so needed something next to provide shade and for us to cook under! It works great. Easy to set up and take down and had it's very own easy to use carrying case.
