Hi! It uses the same electricity as is used in Britain. I live in the Middle East and it is perfectly compatible. I am not sure if the three pin plug as is used in most parts of the world is the same shape as is used in Britain. Power wise, it is perfect. I hope this helps. Enjoy your crockpot... it is great!
