Simplicity Mens Women's Wide Brim Straw Panama Sun Hat

Great buy. I am a 66 year old male. I just got this for summer casual clean up. Can't beat the price. It is very adjustable, comes on a plastic mold for storage.

I needed a new summer hat for an outdoor graduation ceremony and was set on a Panama hat - until I started seeing the prices on Amazon. I also had 2 requirements: white straw and a 3 inch brim. This one met both requirements and cost less than $25! I bought this one because the style was clearly unisex and I added a peacock feather to it myself. It was a big hit as I received several compliments after graduation. The extra special surprise and a real plus for this hat was that it came with a plastic mould that the hat sits on thereby ensuring it keeps its shape! How great is that? Store it some place safe and you don't have to worry about finding it all wrinkled up and out of shape the next time you want to wear it. The weave is tight and the hat has some weight to it. It comes with inserts and a strap if you need to adjust the size or are wearing it on a very windy day. Make sure you wipe it down after you wear it to remove as much of your sweat as you can and beware that sunscreen lotions, etc can discolor it. I love hats and this is my favorite summer dress hat now.

It really does capture the look of a man's fedora from the old days. I like the hard-plastic stand it was packed on which will help keep it looking fresh and new. It's perfect for those of us who want some good sun protection without the need for a wide, floppy brim. I wish I could order a couple more in different colors.

I wear a 7 1/4 hat size and one hat fits perfectly while the other was slightly loose. Tightened the loose one with the drawstring and that one is acceptable also. Edit : Have now had hat for about a year and they do stretch over time, so be aware the hat will not fit snuggly in the future.Like the plastic hat crown form used in shipping.The brim on the hats are soft and just a bit floppy. Nice colors, material and construction is good. Only complaint is with the cord attachments... They feel very noticeable... Not painful just annoying.We live in Florida so if we can get a year or so out of these that would be great.

I have 2 other rather inexpensive panama hats. Each of them is a little stiffer than this one. I like both the others, but I wanted something that I could "crush" and use for travel. This one is ideal. The weave is a little softer and the hat folds easily and returns to shape. The fit is somewhat adjustable and the hat is very comfortable to wear. The brim is large and holds its shape. I am looking forward to wearing this hat a lot more. It is now the favorite of my three panama hats.

Nice hat, but runs small

This Panama style hat is very good quality. The brim is much sturdier than expected with a tight weave and seems that it will maintain its shape and not become floppy. It is very stylish and well suited as an outfit accessory. As a beach girl, I would almost consider it too nice for everyday beach/pool wear. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because, while it shades your face/ neck well, if you have long hair, your head gets hot if you are in direct sunlight and very warm weather.

I bought several hats and this is at least as good as the others but comes with a lower price.

I really liked this hat but it came in the most flimsy packaging and was totally distorted by the time it got here and bent permanently! So nothing wrong with the hat except that! Real shame! Maybe you might be luckier and receive one that isn’t ruined? Maybe it’s the fault of the delivery people? Either way it should be packaged better! Good price otherwise…👍
