My favorite tried and true!
I am a licensed nail tech. This brand is always reliable. This set is done with the sheer pink on my natural nails. It's a semi hard builder which I can soak off easily, but gives strength like hard gel. I use on myself and clients with natural nails and extensions. There is no lifting and no damage even after my nails were 1 month overgrown without a refill. Second set was on my client's natural nails which she grew from nubs to get to that length with this ibd gel. Proper nail prep is key. The negative reviews are from people inexperienced with gels. PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELVES BEFORE USING GELS AND GIVING YOURSELF DAMAGE AND ALLERGIES!!! This self levels pretty quick so you also have to be quick. Do one at a time and flash cure a few seconds to hold it in place. Apex building is easy. I love the translucent jelly pink color. You can see the sheerness in the square nail photo. It gives a flush of color to the nailbed. It's like your nails, but better kind of color. A no makeup "makeup" for your nails! Also, if it isn't curing properly then it means A.) Your lamp isn't atleast 48 watts. B.) Your coat is too thick especially if it's a more opaque color such as the white one. OR C.) You received a defective product. All of which can be true. I fully stand by this gel though. I've used ibd brand as a diy-er when I was a young aspiring tech and now as a licensed nail tech. *Last photo are of my natural nails with just the builder on. Even shiny without topcoat. Builds nice Apex for strength and durability. If you do it right there is no need for much filing on top! I did none at all. The sheer pink is gorgeous.

Best product
IBD Clear Builder Gel is generally well reviewed for its strength, smooth application, and long-lasting shine. Many users like that it self-levels easily and helps create durable nails with a natural look. Some people mention it can feel hot under the UV/LED lamp if applied too thick, but overall it is considered a reliable builder gel for both beginners and professionals.

Very easy to use especially for a beginner
I just used this for the first time. I've previously used a rubber base builder gel which is fine but I wanted something more sturdy. First impression: amaze! First f all I used the sheer pink. It's good and thick but not so much that it oozes out everywhere when you put the brush back in the bottle. It applies easily and smoothly. It does not have any muscle memory though so you will want to cure it as soon as you get that shape you want. I was able to use my drill file to smooth any areas that were uneven. I normally would do press ones with builder gel but decided I want to repair some broken nails by extending the nail with builder gel. As a first timer with this, I found it incredibly easy and am still astonished at how good it looks. The gel comes with very detailed instruction and without misspelling or translation issues. So far, I'm an ibd girly now.

Great builder gel, works well… but the lid was damaged to open
I purchased the IBD Builder Gel in Sheer Pink because I wanted to try something lighter than acrylic for doing my nails at home. I enjoy taking care of my nails and have been practicing extensions and overlays so I don’t always have to go to a salon. When the product arrived, I did run into one issue right away: the lid was damaged, and I honestly thought I wasn’t going to be able to open it. I tried several times by hand and it wouldn’t budge. I eventually had to use mechanic pliers just to twist it open. Definitely not the best first impression. However, once I finally opened it, the product itself worked really well. The texture is easy to work with and it self-levels nicely, which is very helpful if you’re not a professional. I also appreciate that there’s no strong acrylic smell, and it feels much lighter on the nails. The sheer pink shade is very pretty and natural. With one layer it gives a subtle healthy nail look, and you can build it up for a slightly stronger pink tone. It also cures quickly under an LED lamp, and the finished nails feel strong but not bulky. After using it several times, I can say that my nails look natural and hold up well. Despite the initial issue with the lid, the gel itself performs very nicely. Overall, if you’re looking for a builder gel that’s easy to work with, lightweight, and natural-looking, this is a good option. I just hope the lid issue was a one-time packaging problem.

Easy to use builder gel
Really good BIAB. Was easy to work with. You do need a gel base for this. I used the gelish base i already had and it worked well together. I used this to strengthen my natural nails as they grew longer. Painted a thin base of the builder gel (do not cure yet) and then picked up more product and floated it over the nail back and forth all the way to the tip. Flipped my nail upside down and let gravity create the apex. Flipped it back over for a second or two to level out a bit and then cured in a LED lamp for 60 seconds. This DOES have a high heat when curing, so place ur finger in lamp for 5 seconds, pull out for 5 seconds and repeat until the heat dissipates, then continue curing for the remaining 60 seconds. I’ve already sent the link to this BIAB to three friends because it was so easy. Saving us $60 in the salon. In the pic, it’s just the cover pink builder with champagne cat eye over top, and some color on the tips.

Great beginner BIAB
Great beginner builder gel, I like that it’s a lil thicker so you’re able to handle it a lil slower then others. Used this to grow out my nails and now due to my length I’m switching to hard gel but I use this for my suegra and works great for her mom hands! Also a beautiful natural color, will purchase again!

Decent but not for sensitive skin
Easy to use, looks nice, I used duel forms and layered them into a thicker nail/apex. Worked nicely. Pretty color the sheer pink. Only thing is I am extremely allergic to it! My fingers are bumpy, blistered, swollen and cracked sadly. They hurt:( but not really the products fault I guess. Had to remove all my hard work

Just like the Salon
I learned to use this from watching my nail lady. I’ve been using it for 8 months now. When you prep your nails and apply correctly, you will not have any issues with them peeling off. My nails have always rejected all kinds of polishes. For anyone having issues, follow these steps: 1. Make sure hands are free of lotions and oils, but do not wash your hands immediately prior to use. Moisture will cause lifting. 2. Prep the cuticle bed. It extends down the side nail. Any gel on the cuticle or flooding the skin will allow oils and moisture to enter under the gel. 3. Buff the bare nail or file down existing base gel to remove smooth surface and/or lifted areas of gel. Wipe away debris. 4. Use a 2-step nail prep. Step 1, dehydrator to remove moisture. Step 2, bonding agent for the gel. This is a critical step for me, as nothing sticks to my nails without the bonder. 5. Apply a regular gel base coat and cure. 6. Apply this builder gel. If you’re having troubles building an apex, do a thin coat on the entire nail and cure (it is thick, but it’s easy enough to spread. If you’re having issues learning to work with the thickness, use nail art brushes. Can dip the art brush in acetone to clean up the edges). Go back with a second coat, and apply a thicker dab to the center. Once the dab starts to settle, flip your hand upside down to allow gravity to build the apex. Flip back and forth until you have the desired look and cure. Make sure to cap the edges/tip of your nail. This will prevent lifting from ends. 7. If satisfied with the look, proceed with color and top coats. If the nail needs to be shaped, it’s ok to file it down. A color coat will stick as long as you roughen up the entire surface. If filing, wipe debris away with acetone before doing color/top coat. 8. Go back and file any flooded cuticles. Again, this will help prevent lifting for longevity. Following these steps, my nails will last 3-4 weeks when I’m being lazy, though 2-3 weeks is the typical time between redoing them due to grow out. I am not gentle on my nails by any means. I often do my nails, then go out and do manual labor (building a chicken coop, texturing walls, you name it). It takes a few applications to get the hang of it. So if you are having troubles at first, give it a few more tries before throwing in the towel!

My favourite Builder in a Bottle!
Love this Builder in a Bottle! The consistency and viscosity is perfect! Goes on thick and stays thick where you want it thick like the arch and smooths beautifully and evenly to the nail walls. Self levels beautifully, especially when finger is held upside down to pull it into a perfect arch on top. Can touch up shape with brush and it self levels at a speed that is easy to work with and not too rushed or too slow. Viscosity is slow enough that you aren’t rushing to avoid cuticle flooding but I still do a flash cure under the light before moving on to the next finger with each finger to set the perfect level and arch, then cure the whole hand for the full time at the end. I apply a nail dehydrator, then a primer and skip base coat under the BIAB. I apply gel colour directly on top without wiping the inhabiting layer off so that acts as the tacky base top top so no base required above or below this product. I have both Clear and Cover Pink. I prefer the Cover Pink for it’s consistency and how it is a beautiful neutral all on its own but also a nice base colour for gel colour on top (it hides any nailed imperfections/drill marks etc). Super happy with this product!

C'est normal qu'il soit liquide comme ça ? Les avis disent qu'il est epais mais je le trouve liquide comme un semi permanent
