Knitter's PrideDreamz Intrchng Circ Ndle, 6/4mm

My first set of interchangeable needles was plastic. They were okay for some yarns, but I found that wooden needles work better for other yarns. I found some of these tips at a yarn store, and I love the feel and look of the wood. I needed some additional sizes which the local store didn't have, so I was happy to find them here.

I love the length, they feel great in my hands. Not too sharp, not dull. Yarn slides nicely over the needle and over the cord connection. Cords stay tightly connected. One of my favorite needles.

I purchased these and the cords in 2 sizes separately. They went together really easily and I love knitting with them. I have had no problem with them coming loose, as I did years ago with the set of Susan Bates. They are a joy to use, light and easy to pick up the stitches with nicely tapered points. I will be investing in more of these I can see. And gradually replace my old needles that are harder to use.If you are having trouble with your knitting, it is probably NOT YOU. Sometimes it is the yarn, if it is splitting a lot, or if you are having trouble picking up or losing stitches, it is probably your needles. With the investment we make in yarn and especially time, you deserve to have it be enjoyable and relaxing. If you find yourself not finishing projects, it could be because you need better needles, and then it will be more fun. Stop blaming yourself.

One of them broke the first time I tried to put them on my cord. Bummer. Of course the break followed the grain of the wood. Did I use too much force? I don't know - but certainly too much force for these needles. I'm going to keep my eye open for other types now.

I like knitters's pride so these were just what I wanted and needed.

I like this brand however I had to give a 3 star since one end was stripped and the other end fit well. I could have returned it but it would have cost me more money. So I glued the end that was stripped and no longer interchangeable. Now I have to purchase more cords.
