I have purchased and worn several of these satin gowns - always a size small - in various colors over the past several years which have mostly served me well (stitching in piping around the hem tore out early on and long before a couple of these gowns had actually worn-out). I really love the feel of the satin upon my skin and the flattering A-line drape style with loose-fitting short sleeves and V-neckline trimmed w/lace!Recently, however, the quality of workmanship has become questionable with having received two Christmas gifts - from separate orders by two family members - for this charming charmeuse sleep gown in the fuchsia color that did not fit as expected!

I have over a dozen shadowline gowns. All of them are a "flowy" fit. This is very tight and I am unable to wear it in my normal size. I would recommend one to two sizes up from what you wear normally.

I have wearing these Shadowline nightgowns for over 20 years. They hold up extremely well. Wash and wear-no wrinkles. Fabric is very soft, very shiney Charmeuse satin never fades or ages. Lace trim is very pretty and just right touch of elegance. Well worth the money, especially because it lasts for many years. I am 5'5 160 and the Large fits beautifully. When I was 30 pounds heavier, it still fit comfortably. Highly recommend. Picture is accurate.

These are getting hard to find. Comfortable and durable.

Love this nightgown. This is a hard to find style. Yes, it’s definitely longer than photo, but it’s still flattering. Im not a pastel gal so I appreciate the navy color. Not see thru, a big plus. I’m buying 2 more may have one shortened for warmer nights. It’s a lot of material if it’s not cold out. Not cheap but I still think the gown is reasonably priced. I’m 5’3, 130. Small fits perfectly. I’m going to wash in a lingerie bag in washing machine to extend life of the lace, which for me, is not scratchy.

This was great as a nightgown and also as a pretty “wear around the house” dress. I am 5’4 and 147 lb with a small frame and liked the way the size small fit me. If I wanted a roomier fit I would buy another one in a size medium. The dress tapers a little at the waist and hugs your curves in a flattering way — unlike most nightgowns.

This nightgown is very comfy and you can’t see through it . The quality is good and price is reasonable for the quality & style. I usually wear my nightgowns loose and I’m a 12/14 therefore I order the extra large and the fit is perfect especially if you are bustier up top.

What a lovely nightgown! I ordered the navy.I have been looking for some time for an elegant, comfortable nightgown that would cover my under garments. Everything today is spaghetti strapped or tank top and that just doesn't work for me.And I am tired of always sleeping in shirts and pj bottoms. I'm not a glamorous sleeper so I wake up looking and feeling frumpy.This is EXACTLY what I was looking for.I'm 5'5 at 147 and the size small was a perfect fit. It's not too tight and not too long. Comes right to my knees.

Nice fit. Elegant and feminine, yet comfy without being frumpy. True to size.
