I had a need for a 3 foot section of cable and these worked out perfectly. Very sturdy.

Only thing I did was to add a thimble on each end which I think makes a much cleaner, tidier cable but length was perfect and these are beautifully crimped. I've used this cable dozens of times since I got it for some exercise equipment that needed a cable extension.

These cables were, for my purpose, just what I needed. They're supporting my homemade awning over my back door as I had intended. The awning has already been through about a solid two weeks of consistent rains, and then the mainland turmoil of Hurricane Ida in just the past few days and they are holding strong.My only reason for the 4 star rating is the cables have been installed for just one month and the red is completely bleached out of tye vinyl coating which tells me there is likely no UV protection to it and the vinyl will be brittle baked away before this coming winters end. If that's the case, the steel braid beneath will not be far behind with heavy corrosion and eventual failure. I'll update if possible when 2022 spring arrives.

We needed a SS cable to tether our kayaks on the floating dock. This cable is the perfect size and because we are on salt water it had to be stainless steel. Works well and is small enough to wrap through the handles of the boat.

I work at a firearms retail storefront; many clients ask about securing their cases within their vehicles. I purchased the 1/8" braided & jacketed cables (with crimped looped ends) and they work perfect to insure those weapons cases & ammo cans (fitted with locks) can be secure within a vehicle. The cable is easily flexible enough to loop around or through vehicle mounting points. Sure, anyone can argue that a hefty set of cutters will get through this cable; however if a criminal is carrying cutters like that, most any cabling is vulnerable. Nothing beats a security case being bolted down in a vehicle. But, if you're looking for a quick & easy way to secure your weapon cases that doesn't require vehicular modification, these cables will for sure due the trick. For those of you who want to retrofit an ammo can so that it can be secured with a padlock, check out "Aolamegs Ammo Box Can Lock Hardware Kit" ; it's around $8 and does require drilling and some aggressive filing, but it's a great upgrade when used on the correct ammo can.

It perfectly leashes my dog. She can not chew through it. And she has the freedom to run around.
