So easy to fit and looks great
It’s a perfect fit for the velux window. It’s also so easy to fit. I’m not a particularly handy guy but even the screw holes are shaped in a way that it’s impossible to mess up. And all you need is a screwdriver.I had put off getting a blind for ages thinking the size wouldn’t be right and I wouldn’t be able to fit it myself but honestly it looks great, it’s easy to use and it’s very effective.

These are easy to install and fit well
I thought this frame would be hard to fit but a fully worked very well with my velux window. Fitting took about 20 minutes, needs a push as the fit is snug. Looks great and I am very pleased

Great product
When I saw the price of these blinds and watched the video of how easy they are to install, I thought that there must be a catch and too good to be true. But there is no catch and they really are easy to install! The blind I ordered arrived the next day and by watching the video again, I installed it in less than 10 minutes, everything just slotted in perfectly and I love the Pewter colour too. Ordering the right size blind was also easy as seller’s website shows you where to find code on your skylight to ensure correct sizing. The only reason I dropped a star is because when the blind is fully down there is a very slight gap which allows the tiniest bit of light through. This isn’t an issue for me but may be for others. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Bought this based on reviews, didn’t find it easy to fit but have never had to fit one before. The instructions where you need to centralise could be clearer, was a struggle to start with, then remembered to watch a video. Once we had the hang of it, it fitted perfect, took about an hour. Gives a full blackout too so am somewhat surprised that people are not benefiting from this. Would recommend and will be purchasing another for my balcony window.

Lets in light at the bottom when fully closed
This blind was a cheaper alternative to the original Velux blind that broke after 10 years of daily use for a bedroom window. It was easy to install, however there is a design flaw, as it lets in light at the bottom of the velux window even when fully closed. As it is a blackout blind this should not happen. I tried to fit foam at the bottom of the window to fix the issue but it didn't make any difference. the bottom line is it doesn't do the job its supposed to do so I returned it and purchased the original velux blind which was a little trickier to install but keeps the room fully dark when closed.If you don't mind a little light coming in at the bottom of the window, this is a good product, but it didn't work for my needs (children's bedroom that needs to be fully dark).
