HON BasyxBiometryx Commercial-Grade Fabric Upholstered Task Chair, Grey

I needed to replace my old computer chair as it just wasn't up to many hours a day. I got this and it is stylish and very comfortable. Adjustable more ways than I need. Also incredibly great casters! Other chairs got hung up on the grout line in my porcelain tile floor. This chairs sails through and by with not the slightest even hesitation!

I purchased this chair during pandemic. Within a year the backrest cloth detached from the chair and it was unusable. Tried contacting the vendor as the chair was under the warranty. It was a nightmare to reach to the support team. But after ~2 months I got hold of a person in the support at honbasyx. She was nice to send me a replacement chair. The new one has been holding quiet well for 6+ months now.

I have a more expensive HON chair at work so I decided to give this a try for home. This chair is great for the price and is very comfortable. It does not have all the adjustments for my office chair but it also isn't over $400.I am 5-10 200lbs and it fits me well.

I use this chair daily for work! I've purchased MULTIPLE expensive chairs, but this one works the BEST! I've been using it since October of 2020. It's been a whole year now! The arms adjust and they haven't faded. The material is soft and breathable. I honestly can't believe I've had this chair for a year considering how new it still looks! It's very comfortable which helps me get through my work day with ease. I definitely recommend this chair for prolonged use!

Edit: There WAS a response from the manufacturer to the review below to e-mail customer support that's now disappeared. And I never received a reply from THAT customer support either. Avoid this chair and company at all costs.I bought this chair because its the same brand of chair I use at work and I've been pleased with the chair at work so I decided, why not? The first two months of owning this chair were great, it's a nice chair. In August, the chair developed an issue that the fabric came loose and fell out of the track (for lack of a better term) where it's secured to the back of the chair, I contacted HON support on August 24th, they directed me to the HON Basyx Support website to fill out their support form, I did so, I did not receive a response, I reached out to the support person who actually took the time out of his day to do his job and asked if there was any way for him to get in contact with the Basyx Support team (or lack thereof), he told me no, and to fill out the form again, which I did on September 8th, it is now October 15th, and I have still yet to get a reply from the HON Basyx Support Team. If I had the option of returning this and purchasing a chair with a support staff that actually cares about its customers, I would.

I tried couple of chairs under $300. Most of them were not that comfortable and i had to return. But I decided not to return this one for the price that i got. It was on deal, so bought it. I kinda like it.

1/1/2022: The fabric to the back comes off despite fixing it back to its position. This has been happening from over an year. Poor design around the fabric.-----------------------------------------------------------After a long research, was tending to buy Faytson Fabric chair from Staples but with half-heart as that did not have lumbar support. This suddenly popped up in my search, reasonable price(for me) with very good features. Lower back lumbar support, seat front and back movement, height adjustable arm rests, back bends and can be locked whichever position we want. Overall, I like the chair. No regrets.

I did a lot of research on chairs before buying this one. Amazon was the cheapest price and I am happy with how quickly it got here! As I read elsewhere, the wheels are a bit hard to put on but i found if hold the wheel in your palm and use your fingers to pull the base toward the wheel it clicks into place. Otherwise the instructions were very clear and I had it together in 30 min! Very comfortable, I like the adjustable armrests and lumbar support. Overall very happy!
