Poor quality pants, did not last longer than 4 months
After years of wearing Dockers, I had to find new work pants since Dockers quality went downhill. These Haggar pants fit great and looked great so I ended up replacing all of my old Dockers pants. Unfortunately, these do not last as long as they should. I work in a school so these pants are not put through rigorous conditions. I loved them at first but after a few washes, they started to show some wear, especially at the pocket where I keep my keys and wallet. I wear these pants at work and wash regularly. I decided to overlook the signs of wear at the pockets. After about 4 months, I pulled two of the pants out of the dryer and they both had rips in the crotch area that I did not notice before. It was the exact same rip and they were not at the seam. I originally assumed it was from getting caught on a zipper or something in the wash. I was disappointed but I still ordered another pair. Then one day at work, the pair I had on ripped as I sat on a table and lifted my leg up onto a chair. I barely heard the rip and there was very little strain on the pants. The rip looked exactly the same as the rips on the other two pants I removed from the wash. Not one of the pairs has lasted longer than a school year, barely 4 months to be exact. I should have listened to the other reviews on Amazon regarding the declining quality of Haggar. These pants would probably be fine for occasional wear but definitely not for work. Now I am on the hunt for a good pair of work pants that look good.

Good higher end business casual pants that fit true to size.
This review is for the Haggar Men's Premium No Iron Expandable Waist Plain Front Pant in the Classic Fit. I was looking for a business casual pant that was a small step up from my 100% cotton Izod Men's American Chinos that I've been wearing for years and these Haggar pants fit the bill.I normally take a 40W 30L pant and these Haggar pants fit me true to size in those measurements. Since the fabric is a mix of 61% Cotton, 37% Polyester, 2% Spandex the cloth has a little stretch to it which is very comfortable without being too stretchy. The fabric also has a bit of a sheen compared to 100% cotton chino or khaki pants and I think this gives these pants a slightly more dressy look without being a full dress pant. The material is medium weight and fully lined and seems sturdy and well-made. The classic fit works well for me as I have larger thighs and appreciate a little extra room there. The pants wash well and, if taken from the dryer when finished, come out smooth and sleek and need no-ironing as the name suggests. So far, I'm very satisfied with these pants and the next step will be to see how well they hold up over time.

Super comfortable, but very disappointing; rips in the crotch in less than 2 months
We've bought about 8 pairs of these pants within a year (5 on Amazon), but we're not going to be buying them anymore. I can't wash them more than once and know that they own't tear. We've tried different washer settings, and we've never put them in the dryer. The fabric in the crotch tears way before it should, honestly. My husband says the pants are very comfortable and light, and they don't need to be ironed which is nice. But they've torn while he was at work before.Good fit, but not worth the average $35/pair. We ordered the navy ones less than two months ago and they've torn, and the khaki ones that we ordered a month ago look like they could tear any day.

just not as bad as the first pair
Wow, these are junk! I have been wearing Haggar pants for years, I have had no issues until these recent ones, in fact the only reason I needed to replace my existing pair was because I actually wore them out. I bought 2 sizes, one bigger than I thought I needed and one about the right size. They both fit as expected but I decided to wear the larger pair first. This pair lasted about 2 weeks, until I was at work and someone noticed I had a rip in my pants. This was no rip, the pant leg was nearly ripped in half, in the trash it went. Thought this could be an isolated incident so I just started wearing the other pair. Then just today the other pair ripped, in nearly the same place, just not as bad as the first pair. Keep in mind, these pants were loose fitting and still ripped. It really seems like these are inferior Haggar pants to the ones I have purchased in the past. So either these are rip-offs or Haggar has let their quality slide completely. Suffice it to say unless I feel a dramatic quality difference on a pair in the store I will be switching brands and would strongly recommend people avoid Haggar pants.

Crotch tears after 3 to 4 weeks of daily use
I ordered two pairs of these pants for my son who works as a bagger at a local grocery store. We have replaced both pairs through Amazon because the upper inner leg material continues to tear after 3 to 4 weeks of daily use. Now the first replacement pair has torn as well and I guess there is no way to get your money back or replace them again. The pants were wonderful in every other way but $42 is too much to spend on a pair of pants that only last 3 to 4 weeks.

Do not buy unless you like holey pockets
Only reason I'm giving one star is because I cannot give zero stars. I have ordered this pair of pants twice and twice now I have had the same issue occur in where a rip has occurred near the right rear packet - one that probably can be repaired, but still be noticeable that a problem once occurred. Cannot and will not recommend these pants at all.

Good business casual pants
This review is for the pants in gray and blue, size 36 x 30.This brand and style has been my go to business casual pants for the last several years. They fit true to size, are comfortable to wear and are for the most part durable over time, although I have had some sets fray at the bottom of the legs over time but no more so than other brands.I like the stretch waistband, which gives you about 2 extra inches and makes the fit even more comfortable and gives some extra room if needed. They wash well without fading and they don’t need to be ironed as they are wrinkle free. The only thing that I think is lacking is that they don’t have a second inner front pocket. This isn’t a huge issue for me but it would be nice if a secondary pocket was made into them. If found at sale price, around 30 to 35 bucks usually (sometimes less), these are a good deal for a quality pants.4 stars

Great Trousers
Really good quality as always with Haggar trousers. Purchased as a more formal going out trouser and they fit the bill superbly.

Good Depth for Pockets
Great feeling khakis. I bought some other Haggar brand khakis at Sears before it closed, and have been enjoying those for a few years, but it was time to find some new ones.I ordered some Amazon Basics branded ones first, as they were cheaper. They fit alright, and were okay for the price, but the pockets on it were fairly shallow. Plus no hidden expandable waist, which I have been used to.I really enjoy these pants, they aren't tight, the pockets are a good depth, and the hidden expandable waist is fantastic. If you have never tried khakis with a hidden expandable waist and are looking for some khakis, I'd recommend giving these a chance.

If you have something you like, get two. Or three.
I already have an identical pair in a different colour, purchased the time-honoured way: I drove to an over-crowded mall, paid WAY too much for a CinnaBon and a mediocre coffee, pawed over the racks for the brand I knew I wanted, and then tried them on in a flimsy changing room that has better security provisions than my bank.No matter what the leg length they say, the first trip after purchase is still to my tailor. So, after a decent purchase price, avoiding the mall (and Cinnabons), and after dropping a few extra bucks on my tailor's counter, I am pleased with this purchase.

Pants have plenty of room for comfort .
Pants are light weight , so more ideal for spring/summer . Zipper appears to be brass , so should be alright . Pockets are fairly large . I'm satisfied with the elastic as well , because it has plenty of gentle give to all four elastics (two on each side , which overlap one another with one of them hidden in the waist band ) .Purchased another style of Haggar with stretch waist band and the wide elastic which rested against you was so firm , there was almost no give at all which defeated the softer elastic hidden in the waist band . These were good .Update ...bought a second pair .
