Great brilliant colors, difficult to use.
I wanted to love these. The color is vibrant and there is a good selection. But what makes this a 3 star is that they are difficult to color with on both sides. The small tip doesn't deposit a lot of color and the larger tip is too rounded for medium-small detail. I'm using them now with my Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pens. Even though I'm not pleased with the application of these specific markers, I like the vibrant color of the Kuretake Zig, that I'm considering getting the brush tip ones, to see if they are any better. These are just extremely time consuming to use. They also don't blend well with each other or other brushes. While the small tip does good detailed lines, the color deposit isn't great, nothing like my PITT or prismacolor maker small tips, on the other hand the larger tip does horrible lines because it's rounded without a point and you can't see where you are drawing or coloring with it. The color deposit is also excessive - it doesn't dry quickly and I've ended up smearing it while working on a different spot on my work.I can't recommend them, I haven't used them to do renderings, but I feel it would just drive me crazy.Using a marker shouldn't be a chore, I only reach for them now when I can't find the color I want, and I mentally prepare myself for the endeavor, knowing that it's going to a) not be blendable, b) be time consuming c) possibly bleed or smear.

good small tip, but hard, blunt large 'tip'
I think I was looking for 'brush tip', like some of the calligraphy markers. These have a more rounded, harder 'large end', which I find to be too blunt and is not useful to me. The 'small end' is good, but feels redundant to my existing gel pens - perhaps I will enjoy these markers anyway.I like the lyra and prismacolor markers. I do not like the Sargeant washable brush tip markers.

Not the same as my old ZIG scrapbooking markers
I was SO hoping these would be a good replacement for my EK Success ZIG markers - those write so smoothly and last forever. Unfortunately there are a few big differences. These are much smaller, but the real flaw is the wider side is very scratchy. It does not write in an even/smooth line at all. Very disappointing for my use, so I gave them to my 6-year old. They get 2 stars for that, but I will not repurchase.

Nice (water-based) non-permanent marker set
Fun set of brightly colored markers, double tips in a cool transparent case. Very attractive-looking set, lightweight and nice for traveling. They are water based not permanent markers, so not for creating any type of permanent non-smear artwork.

Great for making checklist dots
Be careful not to press too hard when using the marker. It will bleed through your paper. It bled through my 60lb paper. Great for making checklist dots.

Great pens but took ages to be delivered
Great felt tips, the product looks exactly as the photo advertised, they took ages to be delivered as I didn’t realise they were coming from Japan!
