This cherry pitter is awesome! Solid well made. Easy for kids to assemble and clean. Does the job well. Had a friend whose son choked on a cherry pit… scary, so we opted to buy a pitter. Much easier to use than a hand held pitter. Kids will eat bags of cherries when they are in season. Very happy with product.

This little unit was amazing to use for cherry canning season this summer. I think all in all we processed 20+ pounds of cherries and it's held up beautifully. Would definitely buy again.

This product works and it works well. But I didn't give it 5 stars because cherry juice splatters everywhere. Some kind of shield or guard could be added to cut down on the mess. Use this outside and wear old clothes that you don't care about!

I am so happy that I purchased this it works really well for the cherries that I was doing just a few when I was processing him the pit stayed in but if it was a soft Cherry that's what happens but please with it it worked as advertised

Awesome! Stable, strong cast iron with a suction vice that really holds. It took two apples to get the correct setting for the peeler but now that that's set its actually fun to use. Takes less than 5 seconds to do the job, peels off, sliced and the core in a bowl for the chickens. I just rinse the whole unit under hot water and place on a towel to dry. Great product and would highly recommend.

This was so fun to use. It has a super strong suction device that makes it stable on the counter top. We used this so my toddler could safely eat cherries. He pitted his own with this tool, and he’s only 2. I would buy this again for sure.

THIS. DOES. NOT. WORK. If the spring you are supposed to put on the metal plunger would actually stay on the metal plunger, it would work fine, but I ruined the rubber stoppers as the spring keeps popping through. I just put the entire thing in the trash as I am outside the return window.

Pros: easy to put together and simple to operate.Cons: extremely messy, splatters everywhere, feet away from where you're working. Although easy to use, it does not remove every pit. I did six dehydrator trays of cherries, which I cut in half for easy dehydration, and had at least 50 pits remaining. So, if you're looking to use whole cherries for pie or toppings, make sure to examine every cherry you've pitted to make sure the pit is actually gone.

Awesome pitter. I used it for small sour cherries and it worked great. WAY faster than traditional methods. My pitting friend complained it would "bruise the fruit" but I never saw any evidence of "bruised" cherries. I'm not even sure what that means as we were cutting them up for jams and pie filling anyways! Didn't matter to me so long as the pit was out and I could be done pitting my haul in one day, instead of 3. Loved this and will never pit cherries without it again!

I love this machine and with Amazon.ca the shipping is quite fast. around 4 days because of the long weekend. The following is what I have found its good and bad:Advantage:1.) It saves my life to peel and cone the apple and pear like so fast. I think at least 5 to 10 time faster2.) clean up the left over is so easy now because they don't scatter around3.) clean the machine is so easy basically you just raise with water and tower down the water.4.) works on similar shape of fruit and vegges. It works on many similar shape (usually round and oval) of fruit and vegetables but be sure it is a crispy and harder fruit (like potato and pears), soft fruits will not work, and the diameter is . Who cares, I really bought this for apple and potatos. So, read your label.Disadvantage:Still there are few thing I have to mention.1.) The fruit needs to be medium fresh otherwise the fork that punch into the fruit will break the food. That's why some youtube video show it failure. This related to the fruit's hardiness for the fork to hold the fruit.2.) A little bit waste on meat of the apple. Well, it is a give and take because I already waste so much time on peel, cut and clean up.3.) For potato, it is not so clean from the . Probably I need to adjust the knife deeper to cut more (means it waste more) on the peeler. (BTW, I haven't try and see the "back to the basic apple and potato peeler, it might be better and cleaner for potato)4.) Suction cup works quite good on a normal counter top. But still a few it will just lose the suction. But with this price and speed, I really satisfy with the product so I give it a 5 star.-- Be careful not to give it to small kids because it might pinch or cut their hand. It is mean for adult or older teens to use.

Works good, fast delivery suction cup could be better but ok, once you get it set up I think it's great but you will still have to check them over for maybe missed peel and no corer ever get's it all on the inside so depending upon how picky you are with the finished product
