Perfect, just check one thing before install
Perfect for the finishing touches on my daughters drop down desk build! Easy install and easy slide. Although, grab an Allen key and tighten the small screw on the underside all the way before installing. Mine were not flush and ended up hindering the latch slide and also deeply scratching the wood underneath. Other than that, they’re great!

Solid Brass, But Not For Heavy Duty.
These are good-quality bolts, for casement windows and small doors. I had to use one to replace a broken bolt on a French door (one that matched these). I really should have used a beefier one, but these are solid brass, and good for their proper application.ONE NOTE: As mentioned in other reviews, before installing, you really must use a small hex (Allen) wrench to tighten the little knob from behind. Does Exactly What it Should
This is for "QCAA Solid Brass Surface Bolt, 3", Satin Nickel, 2 Pack, Made in Taiwan." I needed small-scale door bolts for a cabinet door application, and these worked great. Because of their heft and solid feel, I'm convinced they are in fact solid brass. The nickel plating is well done, and the two types of striker plates allow multiple mounting options. Very good quality overall. Would definitely buy them again.

Door locks shut
This is a simple slide bolt that was purchased to fit over a removed 80 year bolt. It would have been nice and if it had fit exactly but that would have been unreasonable to have assumed. These bolts and several other items were purchased in the same shine, patina, and style for a homogenous modern and clean look updating an apartment which was rented.

Works, reduces sound, expensive for what they are
Pros I just installed these on my office fence opening doors. The sound is much more isolated within my office now, which is exactly why I bought these.Cons. 3/5 stars because I feel the markup on these is rather high for what they are; basically a pool noodle in a vinyl wrap. A DIY'r could make these rather easily by the looks of it, and for much less..

Great quality sliding bolts
Read a few reviews prior to purchasing. The advice to tighten the allan screws was a good insight. Also, some of the flat springs may require a very slight bend to increase friction so the slider stays in place, especially for vertical instillation. A small drop of 3in1 oil will make the action smoother. Clean aesthetic design, and also suitable for narrow applications. Highly recommend.
