Great for hand pain
Best mouse of > 5 I tried for thumb CMC joint pain (plus carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, and De Quervain’s). Vertical mice increased my side of wrist pain, but would probably be better for carpal tunnel than this one. Greatly reduces but doesn’t eliminate my thumb pain while mousing. Not as accurate / not good for detail work, as it’s a bit clunky, but zooming in is usually sufficient. Way bigger than my old mouse, but I didn’t need to increase my mouse pad size. Heavy, but I checked and didn’t find weights inside to remove like other reviews mentioned. Doesn’t slide super smoothly even on a mouse pad.Took time to get used to, with fore arm soreness due to needing to move the entire arm. Sometimes I still need to remind myself not to grip it with my thumb. Requires an armrest (or moving the mouse forward enough to rest your arm, but that has never worked for me ergonomically), so I had to add a clamp on arm cradle for my standing desk.Wireless works fine. Battery lasted 2-3 weeks out of the box before it needed a charge today, and I imagine it wasn’t at 100% to start. You need the dongle plugged in, even if you are using the charging cable, so it needs 2 available usb ports to use while it charges. A light started blinking to indicate a low battery though, it doesn’t just die like some. No quiet click, but it’s not the loudest either.Lots of negatives, but a regular mouse causes too much pain, and this was the best I found, so I’ll manage. Seems overpriced for the quality and features, but I imagine they spent a lot on ergonomic development, plus don’t produce a lot of them.

Awesome Solution for CTS Sufferers—If HandShoe Had Feet, I'd Kiss Them!
Since August 2015, I have coped with carpal tunnel pain every single day as I work long hours at my computer. If you have carpal tunnel syndrome, you know the sustained feeling of dipping your ice-cold hands in hot water or the sensation of miniature fireworks exploding randomly under your skin along with the deep, steady ache in your thumb—it's hard to hold a mouse with all that going on. I've tried all kinds of solutions, and when I read about the Hippus HandShoe, I was skeptical but desperate enough to keep trying.I received the HandShoe three weeks ago, and in these three weeks, I've had only ONE episode of carpal tunnel pain while working at the computer—and that was only after folding three loads of laundry without a wrist brace on (my bad—but I never would have forgot the brace if my wrist/hand weren't feeling so much better!). The thumb support and the slight angle of the palm support work together to create an at-rest position that minimizes the work of your wrist and fingers. Some reviews say that the HandShoe is too big. Here's my solution, which perhaps isn't doable for everyone, but it's working for me. I have an L-shaped desk with two keyboard trays meeting at a right angle. The keyboard is on one, and the mouse is on the other, so I don't have to reach forward and outward to use the mouse. This setup also alleviates shoulder/neck pain. (You may be able to improvise with a small side-table on your mouse side set at keyboard height.)I notice the HandShoe is more responsive if you don't put a lot of downward pressure on it—which takes a little getting used to but is better, I would think, for your wrist and hand.Every so often, I have to pick up the mouse and set it back down to get my flashing cursor back. Maybe the next generation will have worked out the little kinks—for the price, the HandShoe should be kink-less—but in the meantime, I am happy with and grateful for this product. If you don't have carpal tunnel syndrome, you should still use a HandShoe because it just might prevent you from developing a very painful condition.

Feels great but wireless doesn't work and plugged in is malfunctioning
I've had this mouse for 10 months. The comfort of this mouse is unbeatable. I have arthritis and the shape is perfect and I can mouse pain-free. However, there are problems: 1) I've never been able to use it as a wireless mouse. When it's not plugged it, it skips and freezes so much that it's not usable, so I've had to keep it plugged in. 2) That worked fine until 2 weeks ago my computer stopped recognizing the mouse. I have to unplug it and back in to get my computer to recognize it again. I'm having to do this at least twice a day. I've also rebooted my computer a few times with no improvement. Feels like it's going to die soon. For the price I would like the mouse to last longer.

Like it very much!
Hippus HandShoe Mouse Black Small Wireless Light Click S2UB-LC I've been working with it for a month, now, and I like it very much! It's relatively easy to get used to but it's important to follow the instructions and do NOT use with a wrist support.I particularly like the USB charger with a nice long and sturdy cord, and the fact that the mouse battery can be easily switched off when not in use. I take it back and forth to work in the little soft case that came with it. (To keep from losing the tiny usb antenna, I carry it in a separate little plastic case and put that case inside of the soft case which doesn't close tight enough to keep from losing the usb antenna.)I may come back and give it 5 stars, once I've used it for 6 mos.In the meantime, I like it enough to buy the left handed version!

DEFECTIVE product malfunctioned after 7 days
This is a wireless ergonomic mouse. It IS comfortable but I expect a mouse NOT to malfunction after 7 days. The cursor disappeared, I could still scroll. And when I used a different mouse, I had no problems.

Loved It While It Worked - All of an Hour - Reset and Off and Mousing Again
Love the mouse while it worked - all of an hour. It's now completely, totally, non-functional. Charging has no affect on the mouse. The little blue light that came on in the beginning no longer comes on. Will seek a replacement because I liked it while it worked. Will update after replacement is received. Now totally loving it. All it took was resetting the mouse and repairing it with the dongle. Found the instructions on the Handshoe website. The hand position is similar to my favorite trackball mouse and cradles my hand comfortably.

U.a. zu unhandlich
