Studio Watercolour Paint Set - 24 Half Pans

Arrived today and immediately had to try them, sampled on white and black paper with great results on both although they pop more on black, on white they are still have a good depth of colour and very sparkly. Seem to be highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. I am new to this medium so did not want to spend a fortune, these are excellent value for money I would deffinately reccomend these and will buy again. Added pics of my test squares, don't really pick up the shine, but you can see how the colours change when used on black, the violet came out pinky on white but electric blue on the black.

This is the first time I have tried using this type of watercolour and I love it. It is shimmery and as dense as you want, be sparing or just ladle it on. If my cards look dull I use the colours as required and what a difference. The box is metal and light, the pans are quite big and in my opinion full up. It's tidy and attractive and what a bargain. I have just finished a wee picture of a mermaid for my great granddaughter and modesty aside its lovely. I am ordering another box pronto before the price goes up!

I'm no artist. Bought these for 'colouring in' as I make greeting cards. The colours are lovely, some more on a lighter shade, have a lovely shimmer. The colour names are on the box. I am pleased with them.

I loved playing with these to make my christmas cards. They can be a bit reluctant to thicken up but patience is rewarded on that score, I spray them gently before I want to use them and that seem s to work just fine.Overall - decent quality paints and very shimmery! Would buy again.

Really lovely Metallica watercolours. I have only started watercolour painting these past few months but these look great. I have so far added hints of sparkle to night skies and added in stars to feature. They are really well pigmented but if you water down they give a lovely shimmer effect too. Very happy with them.

My first purchase was as an extra present for my granddaughter who loves painting. Since Christmas she has used the paints a lot and really likes the effect. Her mum, who also paints regularly, was so impressed with them that she has bought herself some! I have only seen their finished paintings via what’s app, but from what I can see they are good value.

These are beautiful watercolour paints. Slightly different from usual watercolours, these work best when a drop of water is allowed to sit on the paint for a five minutes before use. This seems to 'wake up' the lovely rich, shimmering, metallic paint.I've used these for lettering when bible journaling. I didn't pre-prepare the page with gesso, but it didn't bleed through the thin bible paper (though there is some shadowing on the other side). The effect is beautiful.
