my mom introduced me to sun in and I have used it since middle school. I was born blonde and my hair got darker as I got older, so it works really well for me to keep my original hair color. Love this value pack because I don’t have to find it in stores multiple times per year!

This was less expensive than I can purchase locally. I have used this for ages and it does a great job of adding highlights that look natural.

Used to pay alot of money to highlight my darkening hair as I aged. This item was trendy in the 80’s. I tried it again a few months ago & will continue to use it. So easy & saves lots of money. Saturate dry hair at area you want lighter hair, then dry with dryer. The key to activation is the heat from the dryer. Also, can apply before going out in sun.

Take care not to use a ton per day since this works better when used daily for a week for the perfect shade of blonde. I would not recommend this for certain hair color like black since it will change your hair orange. If you have light brown to brown hair, this will will perfectly. Don't forget to get a bit of sunshine too!

Lightens a little at a time, as you wish. I have used the same hairdresser for 25 years, and asked her early on if the product was safe for hair and not damaging in any way. She said it was just fine. I've used the product since the 70's to keep my hair a little lighter, and have very healthy hair to this day.It also gives your hair just a little more body. Lastly, it might be a personal thing, but this tropical breeze scent that they have come out with is so much better (not as strong smelling) than the lemon scent.

only downside is the locking bit falls off a lot. but completely not needed! just don't spray too much on hair at one time, makes hair dry and can easily over bleach! Use a few sprays once a week until you get the color you want and then only need to spray close to your roots once every 2 weeks or so after you shower. WILL lighten hair without sun or blow dryer, but it takes longer to see the results, so be careful not to overuse product! one bottle lasts me most of the year and keeps my hair looking lively and bright and shiny! love it!

This gives you the old school highlights from back in the day. It gradually lightens over time. Not sure if it works for everyone but It looks super natural on my shade of blonde.
