Desperate and Deceptive: The Guinevere Jones Collection Volume 1 Paperback – January 7, 2014

I have had the originals for years and am pleased to see the reissues so I can reread them and save the others. These were better than average books for that time period because the guy isn't dominating and the girl isn't doing stupid stuff to prove her equality. The author has done a lot of those before and after these (The McFadden books were probably the worst) but these were very refreshing.

Still reading, but liking this JONES and her partner more and more. In paranormal terms it seems we have an EMPATH hooking up with a HUNTER. Only she's not sure how much she likes the hunter mode when it comes out. I am still reading these 2 and I can't wait to see how this ends.

I was delighted with Guinevere Jones and her Zac. Castle makes the story move easily and gives us an interesting view of these characters. I especially enjoyed realizing that there were two more novellas in another collection--it is fun to have more of them.

Likable characters. One of Castle's earliest book. Her writing is great improve.

Jayne Ann Krentz's Jayne Castle stories are always fun and interesting to read. They don't appear often enough for me, but I'm always happy to see another new story coming.

Jayne Castle has written a lot of paranormal suspense and this seems to me an earlier offering but after reading her other Guinevere Jones stories I really wanted this one. I don't regret it. I wish she would write more with these characters.

I am a big Jayne Castle fan and being able to find the two bookstogether made my day. I read them years ago and enjoyed rereading them.

it was a very good read and i am going to buy the next one to this and take it on holiday with me

slow start to story,Zac and Gwen did'nt apeal as much as Jayne Anne Krents usual characters,have ordered next book to see if they improve

I am an avid reader and she is one of my favourite authors
