Great value
Quality is much better than I expected. Uniform color and stitching. Opens and closes with a confident snap. Very stiff out of the box but should loosen up after some leather conditioner (or leave it as is) and being used over time. I would suggest a knife about 4.5”-5” closed (5” being the maximum) and no more than 1.5” wide. The sheath “pocket” is 4” deep, so any knife shorter than 4.5” or 4.25” and you will struggle getting ahold of the knife with your fingers. I suppose if you had a shorter knife you could stuff some tissue or piece of fabric down into the bottom of the sheath so your knife would sit high enough to grab ahold of. Overall an excellent value and I’m very happy with the sheath.

Fits Case Sod Buster Update
Fits my Case Sod Buster 4 11/16" length and width. There is an extra 1/2" of length available when the snap is closed. Color medium brown, snap seems okay, slightly stiff, and there is a tanning/dying odor, not the smell of "new" leather. I am going to put the leather case in the sun for a day to "air it out". If that does not work, I will try saddle soap. Time will tell on the workmanship.Update - airing out did not work, Heavy Lysol spray did not work. I may soak it in saddle soap suds next. Otherwise, I will use the Buck scabbard my buddy gave me last night. :)

My knife Has finally found a home
Back in 1975 I purchased a Smith & Wesson model 6060 folder. It was called the Hunter. A lot of us LEO bought these knives because of a special Brown woven sheath came with it with a special buckle so it could only be unbuckled from a certain way. I never ended up carrying that knife because of the brown sheath. Our duty belts were black. Throughout time I’ve lost or missed placed the original sheath and the original box it came in from Smith and Wesson. There was no way to replace the original sheath. I did find one on eBay just once throughout these years and I was too late to buy it it was gone. Back in those days everything was made in USA. I found this sheath to be the perfect replacement. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the special buckle. But I don’t care. The knife has finally found a home in this sheath I have bought from you. It fits the bill perfectly very nice Built sheath. I would recommend it to anyone who needs such a sheath. Thank you.!

Works but a little flimsy
When my Buck Hunter folding knife sheath finally wore out I went looking for a replacement. I am not unhappy because the price matches the quality. The leather is a little thin and where it attaches to your belt it will sag a little after a couple of weeks. The snap does not inspire confidence and will unsnap if you brush up against something. I bought two of them and alternatley use them for my Buck, Case, Sheffield, Smith and Wesson, Snap-On, and GVDV folding knives. Again, they are OK but for the price don't expect too much.

Good value
I needed a sheath for my cheapo edc Ukraine/China knife which turned out to be too big to carry in a pocket all day.. The knife is ok, just too big. Two sheaths caught my eye, one tan, one black, a dollar apart, different vendors. Bought 'em both. They have to be made in the same factory, absolutely identical, except for the color. Both we're pretty stiff, so I used mink oil on the tan and neets foot oil on the black. The tan looks really good and softened up a bit, but the neets one made the flap a lot more flexible. Both are good values and should last. Ended up getting a Buck 284 for a pocket carry.

Very good belt carrier for my Klein 44037 work knife, hold up very well.
I have been carrying this on my belt for months now. No problems at all. The snap on the cover and stitching is holding up very well, no issues. I have it on my belt with me everyday.
