Work as advertised
This is an aggressive muffler so if your current set up is already too loud this will only help reduce the noise a little bit so keep that in mind when shopping around. I was worried about reducing the sound too much so I bought this one and it didn’t reduce it enough (not the mufflers fault at all) I Installed it on my 2011 F150 5.0 with high flow cats and a 3 inch pipe resonator deleted. In my current set up it is way too loud. Would be perfect if my pipes were stock (using the right size of course). Flowmaster has a sort of “loudness chart” on their website. Use that, it states that this muffler will only have minimal decibel reduction and that has been accurate in my experience so take that information and use it however you would like to. I will be buying a more restrictive muffler for my current set up to get more noise reduction, but again, I’m running bigger pipes and high flow cats. I ran the stock pipes and cats without a muffler with no issues but with this setup, it needs a more restrictive muffler. The muffler itself is fine, I just need more noise reduction for my setup.

FlowMaster
What an awesome muffler. FlowMaster has produced high quality products for a longtime! This 3” inlet/outlet 2chamber super44 series has a nice tone with very little to no drone on my 17 F150 5.0 . Has a very nice rumble at idle and a deep throaty sound when driving. If your wanting more than stock sound but nothing annoying this is your muffler!

Adds a nice growl to my 2018 Chevy Silverado LT
My truck was too quiet! I wanted to hear that v8 growl! This dude the trick! I had my local muffler guy weld this on in place of the factory muffler and I love it. My only mistake was removing the factory resonator. The can drone is a bit much sometimes but I love the way my truck sounds now. Nice and deep but not absurdly loud. Great cold starts!

Thoughts
Package came beat up, both the inlet and outlet were bent pretty bad. I had mine bent back and installed on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 Quad cab. The sound is good, I've always liked the deep muscle sound and this has it. I do wish I was louder at idle though. When you get on it, its sound amazing. Gas mileage increased by about 1-2 mpg. When MDS kicks on it sounds a little annoying in the cab for about a week, but I didnt want to disable MDS because it saves a ton of gas if you use it right. I also have a K&N blackhawk cold air intake that I also purchased on Amazon that I highly reccomend... I get over 18 mpg with the CAI and this muffler installed.

Sounds great!
I bought this for my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L Single pipe. The pipe fit perfectly at the shop since I had a single pipe coming out of the truck. Sounds great and makes a huge difference from the stock muffler. It has a really good rumble to it and keeps quiet when you're not accelerating. At 70 mph it has a little bit of cabin noise but isn't bothersome if you have the music turned on. I wouldn't suggest doing a turn down pipe on the muffler unless you want it to roar as it echoes on the ground and have lot of cabin noise. I thought about doing that but it sounds great leaving the pipe run all the way to the rear.
