Kowa Water Resistant Condura Nylon Case for TSN-771 and TSN-773 Spotting Scopes Green

Made by Kowa so it fits like a glove. It has zippers and Velcro tabs so you could mount the scope on a tripod and use it with the case on the scope if you want to. I prefer to remove it during use. I bought it mostly to protect the scope during transport. Kind of expensive but so was the scope.

The Kowa 880 Series Spotting Scope Cover is very well made & constructed. I procured this spotter cover as a replacement spotting scope cover for my Athlon Ares G2 UHD 20-60X Angled Spotting Scope. The cover that came with the Athlon Ares G2 was very flimsy & made from cheap materials. This new Kowa cover fits the Athlon Ares G2 spotter scope like a glove!…a perfect fit & match…with both lens covers & tripod mounting plate installed…it fits very well…zips & unzips smoothly with no snags with the Athlon Ares G2 securely inside. The Kowa case is thickly padded to protect any spotter from any possible damage while transporting. If you are looking for a replacement case for your angled spotting scope…you won’t be disappointed by this fantastic case made by Kowa!

Great protection for my Kowa scope. Fyi- Its a tight fit on my TSN-88A.

The scope fits really well and doesn't move around inside. Seems well made and sturdy.

This is a great way to protect a very expensive instrument. The padding is just right and the sewn handles make it easy to carry safely.

Prompt delivery of case. Case was for a later model scope but protects my much older Kowa model.

Purchased this case for TSN 774 straight scope. Returned it in the next day's mail. Good carry case, padded, zippers strong, etc. Is NOT suitable for on-scope viewing, as description states. Eyepiece end covers in way of tripod controls when folded back, and do not uncover focus knobs, especially fine focus. Yes, you can look through the scope, but it is awkward and uncomfortable, plus you can't adjust most tripod controls. Zipper on bottom to allow tripod mounting is installed backwards, meaning the whole bottom is exposed when on tripod. If you want a see-thru scope cover, you have to buy the more expensive Kowa cover. And that's just acceptable; clumsy design, poor quality shoulder strap, D rings for strap mounted at wrong angle, zipper again on wrong side of tripod mount. Build materials are good, and a couple of hours with seam ripper and sewing machine made it quite useable, but no one apparently put it on a scope and tried to actually use it on a tripod. To see how one of these cases should be constructed, look at the Nikon Fieldscope cases, a really nice design and very functional. All that said, the TSN 774 scope itself is superb, equal or better in optical quality to Zeiss, Leica, and Swarovski. Love the scope, too bad Kowa could not design a case to match the scope's quality.

The case works well for storage and transporting the Kowa Spotting Scope; although, it does not work as well to protect the scope while in use. It has velcro tabs near the eye piece that do not attach to anything. The cover for the objective lens does have a velcro tab that attaches to a matching velcro tab on the bottom of the case to keep the flap out of the sight line when the scope is in use.

Have been holding off for too long getting one of these.Tried several aftermarket ones but the genuine Kowa is so much better. Fit is just right and very usable.Wish I had done this several years ago.
