Every once in a great while, a company goes out of its way to make things right! I posted about issues i had with the belts I received and two days later a box showed up at my door with replacement belts! Thank you Red Label Abrasives for being stand up and going the extra mile, without being asked!Original review "Out of six belts, four broke within 15 minutes of use, One on first spin up. The last two made it through several hours before breaking as well. The tape broke on each one. Luckily we wear full face shields and light gloves; I caught one across the forearm... no fun there. After asking through social media, I was told it could have been an old lot, or they had been subjected to excessive heat for a long period of time. I believe this might be a one time thing, with a bad batch of German made belts. They do cut well though just didn't last."

These belts are awesome long lasting and durable. Used a lot of belts in my knife making days. Easy to get quick and just as good as the others if not better. Will keep buying these belts.

These can't be beat for the money! Belt life while working mild steel is good, but hardly a "test". Hardened, high carbon and high alloy tool steel and blade steel is the real test and these belts are running cool for about as long as the 3M 977 Cubitron Ceramic belts I have been using, for about $1.50 less per belt! I say "cool" because a sharp belt puts the energy into cutting, a worn belt increasingly applies it's energy as friction as it's ability to cut diminishes while the steel gets hot faster, so the length of time you can grind before needing to cool the steel is the most reliable way I know to judge when I should swap belts.[above 120 grit I would still switch to the 3M Trizact CF]

I really like these belts. Compared to others I've tried these are by far the best belts for the cost. In fact I want to order some more just to have. But these last a good long while and I like having a good inventory on hand. ( because I never know how busy I'll be from day to day. So guys if your looking for some good belts try these ...you'll love am.

Your packaging was excellent! My previous belts were not used for several years. When I put a new 120 grit on to hand sharpen some drill bits (I am a Toolmaker and can hand sharpen tool bits on a compound angle quite easily) the belt sort of exploded and slapped me in the face and upper body. I use a Square Wheel belt sander. I put on about 6 more and they all did the same thing except now I stood to one side and they did not get me. I have not used your product yet. I just hope you have better glue lines than my previous belts. Tried to use packing clear tape to tape the broken belts back together and that did not work at all. Glue not strong enough. To my eye, your belts look good. I am retired now and some years ago I made custom knives, all hand ground, no milling.

I have used belts from other manufacturers, but this belt from Red Label Abrasives will now be my "go to" manufacturer for 2x72 belts.The seam on the belt is perfect. It does not cause my material to bounce and it does not bounce against the rollers of my sander. Smooth!After 20 minutes of use on 14ga and 1/8" mild steel, the belt still looks fairly new with no degradation to the particles glued to the belt.I am now looking to place an order for the Red Label Abrasive belts in higher grits to add to my collection.Many thanks for a great product that was not problematic or disappointing!! -joe
