2.5mm to 3.5mm Headset Adapter Chat Talkback Replacement Cable for Xbox One, PS4, Turtle Beach Headsets with 2.5mm Jack

This cord does exactly what it says. It connects directly from my Xbox One Elite Controller to my Astro A50s and Astro A40 MixAmp. My only regret is the right angle plug at the controller. The new version of the Xbox One Controllers and the Elite Controllers have the stereo headset adapter integrated into the controller. The stereo jack is to the left of the expansion port causing the right angle connector to sit where the tips of my left fingers rest. When I use the paddles under my Elite controller, the cord gets bumped or interferes with the paddles, see attached photo. My online buddies tell me they hear annoying scratching and popping when I rotate the connector around because it is either in the way or I'm fiddling with it. I recommend the straight connector for these controllers. I expect those of you using the stereo adapter or PS4 controllers will prefer the right angle connector.

This cable is EXACTLY what I needed to make my Xbox360 Turtle Beach X31 headset work with my Xbox One.Note to others: You will need to use the 3.5mm (Output) on your TV to go to the (INPUT) on the transmitter for the X31 and then use this cable for chat from headset to controller. Your Xbox One -HAS TO- have the 3.5mm on the controller for this to work. It works great! Only thing is I cant mute my chat audio or change the chat audio level like the original cable, but thats fine. Better than buying a whole new headset!

The media could not be loaded. Tested it it works cannot tell a difference in sound quality from original Turtle Beach cable. It is shorter than the original Turtle Beach cable. It does have retained memory from being wadded up into 3-in squares. Seller should roll Cable in a circle to help resolve this issue. The connections work well and are not loose we'll see how long it lasts?

Worked fine for about a month, then with light use stopped working. This item was not robust or even standard in quality I fear. I made sure not to twist, pull or otherwise mistreat the cord as that would put pressure on the plugs of the devices as well. (XBox One Controller and Turtle Beach Tango headset). Have tested standard microphone headset with controller, and it works fine. So it's not the controller.Worked fine till a week ago. Problems started slowly. Now, will transmit the mic sound to my party just fine, but I have to play their voices through my speakers rather than "headset only" option so I can hear them. So one of the interior cables has broken.

Hey everyone. Can confirm that this cable works perfectly with the first gen Astro A40s Tx/Rx Mixamp.My headsets also support a talk back feature (so you can hear yourself talk). This worked flawlessly as well.As far as durability, the cable seems to have adequate thicc shielding. The connectors are also quite beefy and feel built to last.Value-wise, they a reasonable compared to similar cables on the market. All this cable is missing is RGB.

Well, I purchased this wire to use it with my old Turtle Beach Delta headset. I have the Xbox One Elite controller which has the headphone jack on the controller itself (unlike the older model controllers). The angled part of the plug did not bother me and did not interfere with the paddle buttons on the bottom. However, my friends hears echo whenever I use the the plug. When I change to Xbox one chat headset, they don't hear the echo..I'm guessing it could be my setup but I have not figured it out yet.

Works great so far. Been using it for 6 hrs a day every day on destiny and have had no issues. Currently i am on Xbox one using Gen 2 Astro A50 headphones and the latest Xbox one Controller that has the 3.5mm jack on the bottom. This works flawlessly and the 2.5mm male end fits perfectly into my A50's. The chat quality is spot on and i am experiencing no buzz or echoing anywhere. If this cable ever goes bad I will certainly purchase another!

I purchased this cable for my PDP after glows on Xbox 1 after I lost my ability to chat with the original PDP 2.5mm cable. With the stock 2.5mm chat cable, I needed to us a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter in order to plug into the Xbox 1 chat adapter. With this cable I am able to run directly from my headset (2.5mm) to the chat adapter (3.5mm), which is a plus. This cable works as advertised and eliminates an additional adapter with my setup. I have no complaints.
