Mother 2: Gyiyg no Gyakushu

So let me start by saying that I understand international shipping. I'm a very patient person. No complaints on that.I initially ordered this for the sake of getting a very expressive game on cheap and dealing with the language barrier as I have in the past.Over time, which started before purchasing this item, I saved up enough to find a legitimate copy. And I bought it.Why is this funny?They arrived the same day!!!I'm still laughing about it, and as someone who likes to find differences between regional releases..it was the perfect day to play both

For those of you who want to play EarthBound on the SNES or Super Famicom, this is a great pick for you. Given this is the Japanese Mother 2 version, this can be also a great learning tool for Japanese text if you are interested in studying japanese. This game is text heavy so you might want to have a japanese to english conversion program running on your computer as you play. The game has a combination of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.This is possible to play on a US system by removing the plastic cartridge slot tabs that are inside the console which there are guides for, or you can buy a Super Famicom cartridge adapter converter if you want to play it safe. It will allow you to play Japanese carts the same way. If you are just looking to collect games, this is a great game for your collection as well.

i can't speak for anyone else, but i am very surprised at the quality of this item. i didnt realize it, but the one i ordered actually came in the box, which had no wrinkles or tears or anything in it! It really looked like someone took a brand new copy of mother 2 (with all 3 save files at the end of the game), unwrapped it, and sent it as is. shipping took a while (which the company actually sent an email apologized for!), but the game works fine on a modded super NES. I don't have a single complaint about this order.Also, if you don't understand japanese, don't bother buying this.

I bought this because I have played the American version of Mother 2 and because Earthbound's price is something that stops me, I bought this because I already know what to do and where to go. And even though I'm not very familiar with Japanese, this game teaches me Japanese (at least written). 5/5, good game.

Amazing game. Definitely not your typical RPG. It doesn't take itself seriously and that's what makes it so unique. 5 stars

I was hesitant to buy this, but it turned out to be absolutely perfect. It came in excellent condition. It was used, but you would not be able to tell. For the price I paid, it was more than worth it.
