Foldable.
It works, but the material is kind of chintzy. In strong sunshine, it covers your ears, unlike baseball caps. You can fold it and put in your back pocket, and take it out if the sun gets to be too much. I deliberately shrunk it a little in hot water, so that it's not as loose as at first.
