Grannicks Bitter Apple Taste Deterrent No Chew Spray for Dogs, 8oz (Pack of 3)

I learned about this product from our dog training class. We've raised two labs from puppies. This solution is quite effective at preventing constant barking, chewing, counter cruising, and snapping at faces. My current lab puppy had not been taught manners at 4 1/2 months. He jumped up at us and bit/chewed/scratched our arms, legs, clothes and even jewelry. After using this spray when he exhibits bad behaviors (stealing food, etc.), his behavior immediately improved. Now I only have to hold up the container (not spray at all) and his good manners come out. Puppies get so excited and it makes it hard for them to remember their manners. This liquid is unpleasant smelling/tasting to them, but does not harm them in any way. It's a good way to fast track behavioral improvements.

When using this product consistently and after one use, it did stop my 1 yr old lab from further destroying my couch and any other furniture he was chewing. After every use my dog will not get on my couch. We ran out of the first two bottles and the very next day the destruction started again.We will spray this product on any furniture when we will not be home to avoid destruction. He definitely does not like the smell!I highly recommend!!

He loves to chew on things basically anything but when we spray this on it he avoids it. You have to periodically spray again but not for a couple weeks at least.

We have used it before but our new dog is very headstrong so if your dog is teething on your arm, spray it with Bitter Apple. If he starts gnawing on the leech spray it with bitter apple. Never spray your dog with it. Just spray the object you don't want him to chew on or pee on.

When I put wee wee pads on the floor, for my puppy to poop on, she is very excitable andoften chews the wee wee pads. When I spray this Grannicks on the wee wee pad, along theborders, it deters my puppy from trying to chew the wee wee pad. It does work.

It does stop chewing but only temporarily

I had to taste this stuff and yeah it tastes awful. So in this place, 1 star is a good thing. The smell is that of rubbing alcohol while it's wet but it dissipates pretty quickly and the dogs each act pretty perturbed when I dose something with it that they should be chewing on.

I have 4 dachshund puppies age 4 to 5 months and they want to chew EVERYTHING. I bought this product hoping it would deter them from destroying their puppy pads in their kennel room and the furniture they love to chew. I generously sprayed both with this product. Some of the product dripped on my hands while spraying said items, my puppies licked it right off my hands and needless to say, still destroyed their puppy pads and continue to try to chew the furniture. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, and worst part is I can't even return it.
