Be advised the thread size for the terminal bolt is wrong. You can use the supplied bolt IF/ you can get the original one out. Most are captured to prevent loss. I was careful and used anti seize on the existing bolt the basically rethread it but you risk stripping it.Also, it shoud come with lock washers particularly on the battery terminal see. That bolt is correct threadThat said, it works well as a disconnect

I don't drive every day, but vehicle battery still drained cause CD player keeps CD in memory start spot. I had to replace 2 batteries before got this, I also use to plug battery into charger always. Now with this it's easy and quick to turn off battery just by turning the nob on or off!!!!! No more battery frequent replacement

Metal is weak and the threads were messed up within an hour of working. Do it right because if you don’t, the threads won’t hold up. I accidentally cross threaded one of the bolts. It didn’t even take that much.

This disconnect effectively stopped the battery from discharging to zero during times that we were unable to start the vehicle.

Fits properly on battery, but the contacts do not disengage reliably. Any movement could cause them to make contact unexpectedly. It is not a switch as claimed, but more like loosening a wire. The knob holds the contacts securely together when in the ON position. However The contact points are NOT held apart when knob is loosened. They just flop around and good luck with that!

Easy and cheap solution until I figure out what I'll do long term. Installed on the stock battery in a camper. Having to take off the battery cover to access is a slight inconvenience, but I knew that going in. This is a temporary solution as I may get more power full batteries, or put the batteries in a tongue box. Until then seems this will work great.
