Had to replace the original ones. Initially I thought I needed a whole new vacuum, but thankfully these did the trick. Vacuum is back to work 👍🏼

My pool man just told me I needed to replace the diaphragm in my Zodiac pool cleaner and said it was $75 for him to sell me one and he had one in his truck. I said No Thanks. I can get them for $5 each. He said BUT they are not name brand, quality like what I sell. I said, they are better than the name brand as proven by the fact that this diaphragm that came with the Zodiac is barely over a year old already needs replacement. I am not spending $75 a year to replace these little rubber pieces that are easily installed without any experience or skill. Even if my $5 diaphragm only lasts a year, that still saves me $70 a year! Furthermore, reading the reviews here, it seems these diaphragms are actually built better and will likely last 3+ years. I recommended my pool guy open his eyes to alternatives away from the OEM to offer his customers a better product, a choice and he can make a bigger profit by offering more than just OEM.In the end, I declined the work and the price. Put my $5 diaphragm in and I'll follow this review up when/if the day comes when its time to replace it and see how it actually compared to the OEM. I figure it should last at least a year and for $5 vs $75, it makes no sense to me why anyone would pay more unless it came with a 10 year free-replacement warranty.Save your money and buy this! It's better than the OEM no matter what your pool guy says. He's just trying to make a sale - that's his job.
