As part of a Catholic Catechism study group, my topic is on the Communion of Saints. This book was a concise but focused discussion regarding the Catholic beliefs especially in terms of Purgatory. To prepare for my topic I read several books, excerpts and articles and this book not only presented the catechism simply but also supported the statements with biblical passages. It also presented the topics in a matter-of-fact fashion but not with a doomsday feel. I would definitively recommend this book, along with Beginning Apologetics 1, as a jumping off point into learning about the end of times from a Catholic perspective as it sets the groudwork for further more detailed study.

Easy to read and understand. It will give you a good foundation for explaining Catholic Theology. Another wonderful book produced in this series.
