I purchased two sets of these casters in separate orders for two home office chairs we have. The prior plastic OEM casters were terrible. They were frozen and just scraped the chair mat. The stems on the new casters were easy to install in a few minutes. They continue to roll very freely from over 3.5 years of nearly daily use. I have not had to worry about any ball bearings spilling out. They are well-made and worth the purchase price.

Very smooth. They don’t tear up the natural wood floors. Good value. Quiet when rolling across the floor. Wheels were easy to install in two different chairs.

These work great and they’re very sturdy! But this style of wheels are not meant for carpet with padding. Hard surfaces or even cheap thin carpet (usually that thin carpet in basements) would be perfect, but actual carpet with padding is not ideal even with a desk mat. The wheels have too much tension directed in one specific area versus normal cheap wheels that usually have two on each side. Again, wouldn’t recommend with carpet. Would recommend with any hard surface.

Victory is silent, sturdy, smooth, functional, and chrome-plated. Recommended.

An honest review of these office chair replacement wheels.Quality: These wheels haveba solid weight and feel very well assembled. I did not get the impression this was a cheap knockoff of a better product.Installation: The ease of installation is good. It does require a little finesse to make sure the wheelis seated properly, but the fitament is correct.Ease of movement: As expected, these wheels allow extremely easy movement on hardwood floors. I was shocked to see the same outcome when using the same chair on carpet. None of the wheels get stuck in a position causing resistance. Its great!Noise: Unfortunately, these wheels are not quiet. The material the wheel is made of does not make marks on floors, but the trade off is hearing the movements of the chair (especially on carpeted floors). Its not extremely loud, but does take some time to become acclimated.Overall: I would recommend these wheels to be used with any office chair. Added bonus, the wheels add an additional 1" of height to the chair, making it really good with ergonomic desk/monitor setups.

I purchased these for my Herman Miller Aeron office chair when I started working from home about three years ago. The chair is almost 20 years old and when I brought it home I was worried that the original rigid plastic wheels would scratch my hardwood floor. So, I chose to replace them with these. I made the right choice. I LOVE THEM! I can’t quite explain how different they feel, but it’s like they have a very slight give that the rigid ones didn’t. It just seems more comfortable, especially when rolling. They handle the hardwood floor with ease and leave absolutely no marks. But my favorite thing about them is the reduced noise when I move. They are whisper quiet! Perfect for when I’m in Teams or Zoom meetings. Replacing the wheels was easy as pie; took less than five minutes. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, but I can tell they will last the lifetime of the chair so I won’t have to.

I replaced my Leap V2 wheels rather than the gas cylinder that was dragging on my carpet. Since I am the only person using the chair, I didn't need the feature of going up/down. These wheels are taller than original wheels by 1-1.5", it raised the cylinder such that it no longer drags. If you have short legs, this could be a factor and may need a footrest, I'm 5'8.5". The repair required no tools and was as simple as pie. It made me feel like a rockstar, just tugged off the old wheels and pushed in the new ones. Wheels are quiet, smooth and are all black so kind of disappear from view. I think a two-wheel system twists and turns a bit nicer so the next chair I may try that type for comparison. This is such an improvement, so happy to have found the wheels in time to save my wood floors.
